This Cal was great for my locs. My locs are bra length so I got the extra large for when my hair is in pin up. It gave me extra space but keep everything snug around the edges. I also bought the large to wear when my hair is loose to keep it snug in place. The cap has a tiny smell but it went away the next day after airing it out. Great product for people with locs.

Wore this swimming cap for swimming and aqua aerobics for the first time and was pleasantly surprised - as it stayed on firmly. The large cap comes, with ear plugs and nose peg. So good value for money.

Thick rubber is good quality. I have very thick, long hair (hairdressers always commented on the thickness), so got the X-Large, but it is HUGE on me (even with a big head! lol), and lets water come in around the edges of the swim cap. But if you tie your hair up in a top-bun, and don't dive/duck dive, then the middle and ends don't get wet, just a bit of water coming in slightly around the sides. Have yet to try the triple cap technique (netted shower cap first, a smaller swim cap, then the Dsane cap on the outside).If I'd known, would've gotten the Large. I heard that Amazon throws away returned items into the landfill, so didn't want to return it. Would be interesting to try the Large size (or maybe even another brand? not sure). Great that it came with ear and nose plugs, and carrying case to fit it all, though.

I have long, thick, curly hair that gets damaged by the chlorine in many pools, especially at the gym. My hair goes about half way down my back when dry, and chlorine makes it feel brittle and can even turn it green if I get too much. I didn't think this cap would fit all my hair inside, but it worked perfectly. I was easily able to fit all of my hair inside, and the cap is comfortable to wear while swimming and stays tight as long as I need. My hair stays dry in the water and protected from pool cleaning chemicals. I definitely recommend this to people with long hair that want to keep it dry and healthy in the water. Mine even came with ear plugs and a nose clamp to wear while swimming.
