Flavor, salt content, serving size
I got a sample packet & tried an entree. I gave it a 4 for many reasons. #1 being flavor, starvation being the best seasoning, the flavor was palitable; however I would not grab one for the family dinner under usual circumstances. We didn't hate it. #2 salt content was was minimal. 480 mg per serving, similar Mountain House is 890 mg, Progressive soup is 890 per serving. #3 vegetables, the dish was a primavera, so it was mostly pasta. Vegetables were a part of it. In the package of 2 servings we found 4 peas (they reconstituted to a lovely texture) 4 pieces of broccoli stem (each the size of about 2 peas), one smashed while I was stirring. #4 serving size was 2/3 cup per person. We are small people, that was not much but a side dish. #5 butter was needed as a additive at the end. If I were hiking on a trail, would I have butter with me?I will not buy the product. I am thinking about seperate items, such as freeze dried peas, chicken, etc. Pasta is always part of my stores, keep extra, why pay a premium price for something I can keep circulating.

Why are you hiding ingredient lists and calorie counts?
What I have learned from researching dozens of long-term food storage companies is this. Companies that do not advertise or even show this information (ingredient lists and calorie counts) on their websites is hiding something. Usually they will just advertise a large number of "servings", which really means nothing. Typically, these shady companies have serving sizes that range from 80-300 calories, meaning that an average human would need to consume around 15 of these "servings" per day for an average 2,000 calorie diet. Calories are energy. Energy is what is needed to survive. Also, when ingredients aren't listed, typically they are not wanting the customer to know what they are made of. It often means that the foods are heavy on cheap and ineffective carbs like sugar. While I will not specifically recommend a brand, I would highly recommend you look elsewhere, and look for companies that proudly show quality ingredient lists, as well as calorie counts. Anything else is just dishonest.

& the rave independent reviews I had to give it a try and am glad I did
I learned about Numanna from Mike Adams (The Health Ranger) at Natural News, and also Dave Hodges of The Common Sense Show on YouTube. Being the only non-GMO long term food storage on the market, & the rave independent reviews I had to give it a try and am glad I did. Having quality long term food storage that's quick and easy is an excellent way to diversify your food storage preps, and Numanna is hands down the only pre-packaged long term food that I will purchase.By the way, I spent a month in grid down Puerto Rico to assist with the relief efforts of hurricane Irma & Maria and 100% recommend adding freeze dried foods to your preps since living there and appreciating the quick & easy convenience that Numanna brings to the table.-Corey @ Prepared 2 Thrive (on YouTube).
