Bought this as a gift and they loved it

The Little Lamb was one of my favorite books as a kid. I am glad that I found the book and that I can now share the book with my son. He really likes the book as much as I did when I was a kid. The pictures are what I remember the most of the book. It is a great fun read for kids. I can now add this book to my collection of books that I want to share with my son. Now that I know the author of the book had more books other then The Little Lamb I might now get them and read them with my son. So if you have kids then this is a great book to get them. It is a simple story that kids will be able to follow.

I've looked for this book for years!!! I read this over and over as a little girl in the late 70s, but my copy was lost at some point. The story is so dear! My grandparents had a farm, so I always loved seeing the animals and making friends with them. This story was exactly like that. Then imagine the thrill when we moved to Maine and my parents bought a couple of lambs to keep as pets! It's probably even more sentimental to me because I looked exactly like Emmy and my lambs looked just like Timothy in this story. This is a must for any child growing up. So is Petali and Gurigoo, but that's another review...

My 30-year-old daughter saw a picture of a lamb online today and had a flashback..."Didn't we have a book about a lamb when I was little?" Yes, and it was a favourite. I could probably still recite the entire text if I tried!I always liked the parts about the lamb eating too many vegetables and needing some medicine, and the part where the little girl gave him a bath and brushed his wool with what looks like a wool carder.

Not a bad kids book.

Very happy with purchase, book is used but like new. These are great stories with real photos.

This is a small book, suitable for little ones who can look at the pictures while the story is read to them, or suitable for an older child who can enjoy reading the story alone. It isn't a long book, but for the price, I think it is a great book for kids, helping them to learn about lambs.

I remember reading this when I was a small child. I bought it for my granddaughters, who are already loving the lamb's adventures. Great to read to your child or with your 1-2nd grader.

I was looking for books with photos as illustrations for my 2 year old daughter. This book has some nice photos about the little lamb Timothy. Lovely, simple story too. My daughter loves it.
