I'm a first time video camera user, but I recognized that I'd need a few things beyond just the camera to make using it easier and more fun. It was hard to figure out what was going to be needed the most, but when I saw this package I couldn't think of anything else I'd need to get started, and for the price it seemed an excellent value; and it is! The package seems to have been put together just for someone like me; I'm new, don't need massively heavy duty things to make basic filming a nice experience and didn't really want to try buying a lot of separate items - especially when these seemed perfect for the particular camera I was buying. My primary use for the camera is for recording my granddaugher's lacrosse games; transporting the camera is easy in the simple, but sturdy, bag, and the tripod comes along easily, in it's carrying case, too. The tripod is light weight, but well built, and for my purposes, it works just fine (sure beats trying to follow a game with a handheld camera...). This package will work well for anyone just starting out, or for anyone just wanting to add a few items for their lighter recording needs. I'd recommend it highly.

The kit was great and was well worth the money!! Except my biggest disappointment was that the cam bag they sent, the zippers were broke. I need to call and get them to send me another bag. Hopefully, someone really reads these reviews and will call or email me to send a new one. I guess you could say this is a test of if they really read this stuff and make there customers happy. All in all the the tripod has been perfect for the football games I record and I know it will work well in the basketball gym this season. This kit is really worth the money for sure just make sure you get a cam bag that the zipper works.I will keep everyone posted if i get a response from the folks (Sep 16 2013)

I'm not a professional cameraman. In fact, I'm not even much of a casual cameraman. In the last couple of months, I've used my video camera a grand total of 1 time. But the stuff seems decently made for a decent price, and the tripod is handy when you need it. It beats having to stack up a bunch of boxes or whatever to make a little platform for the video camera.The customer service for the store is probably pretty good, too. I didn't really need to call them, but a guy from the store actually called me and asked if I was happy with my purchase after a couple months.

Well, you get what you pay for. You don't pay much, you don't get much. The stand is good if you just want to put the camera at one point, but don't try moving much. The bag is ok. The reader worked. So still, value for money is ok, but don't expect quality.

This accessory kit was fairly in expensive. But, you get what you paid for. The separate pieces are of varying quality. Overall, I feel happy with it. There are one or two items which, alone, I feel are worth the cost of the entire kit. I'd recommend it with this caveat.

camera bag seam had approximately 3/4 inch gap where the machine operator made an error. i sewed it by hand and it is holding up pretty well. so far i am satisfied with the rest of the contents of the kit.

It is a good kit, but a bit lightweight. It does have everything you need to get started, but I will invest in a sturdier tripod. Good value.
