this is the same as the swiss tech or alltul vulture with one difference: the wirecutting notch on the swing arm is not sharpened/beveled. you can see it in the pictures.it is identical to the retail versions in all other regards. the metal, surface finish, spring gate, weight, etc are the same but they skipped cutting an edge into the wirecutter. basically the chinese factory made an extra amount of these from the name brand production run and they sell it as an off brand.just spend the extra 2$ and get the swiss tech version.

Very effective tool

I purchased 2~~One for my husband and the other for a co-worker of my husband's...They both love them...Husband said its the best thing I ever purchased for his job and household repairs and the co-worker said it cleaned out so many tools for his daughter's traveling Hockey Repair tool box....They both said its wicked handy and what a great purchase....Totally suggest to purchase this neat lil tool to others....

The box cutter can't cut anything. This was the reason of buying this multitool Been trying to sharpen it for days. That is how bad it is. Do not buy.

The pluses:- Thin, light, could carry it in my pocket for 50 years and never be bothered by it- No blades of any sort, so you should be able to carry this through TSA and other checkpoints without issue.- Bottle opener will take the cap off a Corona.- The box opener will rip through packing tape adequately to save your fingernails.- In a pinch, the carabiner could hold something together.The minuses:- The screwdriver functions are next to useless. If you have to gently loosen a phillips screw that is readily accessible, not recessed, not rusted, jammed or over-tightened, then fine. It will do that. But this is not how the real world usually works. The flat head screwdriver is similarly small, with exactly the same limitations. Only a screw that you would and could tighten with your fingernail will be moved by this tool.- The "wrench" functions are about the same. In a pinch, you could in theory use this tool to turn a nut a short distance as long as it spins readily.If you can't carry a Swiss army knife where you're going (e.g. airport, some offices) then at least this will allow you to open boxes and pop a beer at the end of the day.

I bought this since it had a screwdriver but it got stripped the first time I used it. I did end up putting a thick rubber band in order to prevent more stripping but I don’t want to have to do that every time. I also tried to use the cutter for cardboard but definitely is more for plastic use like opening the box. I was honestly just kind of disappointed in the screwdriver.

Confirmed at only 1.6 ounces on my digital scale, I find this an interesting addition to Every Day Carry (EDC) gear options. Etched markings are on metric scale (missed opportunity to have had inch markings on other side of swing out arm). Opening action has detent stops and is more than adequate to prevent undesirable opening during carriage on a keyring/lanyard. The strap cutter is very dull and needs to be sharpened for any real useability.Overall, a fairly useful assembly of gadgets on a small platform, I’d rate it as a good buy for those who like to be prepared, and as a nice gift for those who fail to get prepared on their own! I tried carrying this for a while but found myself consistently choosing a knife over this for opening packages. It would be good for a key chain or to clip to a backpack, but I tend to avoid it for EDC because it's just more trouble than the value it brings. Nifty for the gadget lover and a nice stocking stuffer or gift!
