the pedal is very good but it works on your device is an excellent pedal.

It is possible to connect the EV-5 expression pedal to the FP-30 pedal input - but this input is set to provide hold / sustain only, so the EV-5 would not make much sense for this connection. Better options would be the DP-10 or DP-2 pedals.
