Innovated great tool for learning how to tell time
this is a great tool for teaching time there’s no going backwards so the child learns how only the small hand stays on one number in the big hand makes it move. It’s a very helpful design.

Good Teaching Tool
Grandson (4 years) loves his clock. Yes it’s small but it fits his hands. We have a grandfather clock and he loves making his clock match the grandfather clock. Good introduction to start telling time. We’re starting with the hours and then we’ll move forward from there. Good teaching tool. Would recommend.

Great tool when teaching time.
I use this for homeschooling. I like how it’s small and does not take up a lot of space. Very pleased with the product. The secondhand does move as you move the hour hand which helps my son see time changing as the hour hand moves.

Good for hands on learning
Fun for hands on time telling for littles. The back piece is sort of flimsy and broke, so be mindful when allowing kids to play with it.

Disabled Veteran Honest Review
BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front): 5-star review! The Learning Resources Big Time Mini Clock is made of plastic , yes, plastic , but it’s tougher than a Wampa in a winter coat. Durable? Check. User-friendly? So easy even a droid could set it without a manual. I bought this with my own hard-earned Credits (no Jedi mind tricks here) for my kid, who until now thought “quarter past” was a line from The Mandalorian. It’s transformed time-telling from a galactic disaster into actual comprehension. If your child is struggling with clocks, this is your Obi-Wan of teaching tools and I highly recommend it. When my child looked at an analog clock and asked, “Is that a pizza with hands?” I knew we were in dire need of intervention from a higher power. Enter the Learning Resources Big Time Mini Clock the Yoda of time-telling, small in stature but mighty in wisdom. Measuring a compact 4 inches, this little Death Star of education fits perfectly on any desk (or X-wing cockpit). The hidden gears? They work like Sith magic turn the minute hand and the hour hand follows like a loyal apprentice, never losing sync. No more watching your kid set the time to “Darth Lunch” because the hands fell into rebellion. The color-coded red and blue hands match the clock’s markings like a well-coordinated Rebel Alliance uniform minutes in blue, hours in red, no confusion, no mutiny. Plus, it comes with a removable stand so when your Padawan isn’t practicing telling time, the clock stands proudly like it just defeated Emperor Palpatine. Made of durable, wipe-clean plastic, it survives sticky fingers, juice box ambushes, and even the occasional tantrum-induced toss. After just one week, my kid went from “What’s an analog?” to “Mom, it’s ten minutes to three — just like in The Book of Boba Fett!” (Okay, maybe not that last part, but she did get the time right.) Themed Q&A: May the Seconds Be With You Q: Is this clock powered by the Force? A: Not officially, but given how often my kid glares at it hoping time will move faster, I wouldn’t rule it out. It is, however, powered by excellent engineering and a healthy dose of parental desperation. Q: Will this survive a lightsaber duel (or a toddler)? A: Tested under extreme conditions (e.g., dropped during a fit over broccoli, chewed slightly by a curious dog who mistook it for a chew toy). Survived. Like a true Jedi, it bends but does not break. The plastic is sturdy and wipeable — ideal for post-battle cleanup. Q: Can I use this to time how long it takes to reheat a frozen bantha stew? A: Technically yes, though we recommend a microwave timer for precision. But for teaching your youngling that “half past” isn’t a Star Wars character, this clock is flawless. Q: Does it come with a mini Darth Vader who yells when it’s bedtime? A: Sadly, no. But I’ve filed a suggestion with the manufacturer. Until then, use your imagination… or your best evil laugh. Final Verdict: This clock is a 5-star, hyperdrive-speed, time-traveling miracle for kids struggling with analog time. The vaule is well worth the price. It’s durable, intuitive, and practically raises your child’s IQ while you nap. Highly recommended — unless you enjoy hearing “What time is it?” every 37 seconds. In which case… may the snooze be ever in your favor.

Ok but small
Decently made but small. It is titled “Big Time Mini Clock” so the natural impulse is to key on “big”. But it ain’t. Fortunately our kid is still happy with it.

Great learning tool for kids
This is awesome for teaching my 8 yr old son how to tell time. It's easy to use, bright and good for his small hands. He likes learning with it, we use it almost daily and he has learned quickly the clock and telling time. It's a great learning tool for learning time for kids. It's well-made and easy to understand and teach with. I recommend for anyone looking to teach their kids about reading a clock.
