Useful, but not a replacement for good sandpaper
These pads are a useful product, but will not replace a good sharp sandpaper when it comes to actually removing serious amounts of material from a surface. The pads come in a variety of "grits", but to be honest, I couldn't discern very much difference between the finest and coarsest. If you're looking at removing any more than the very thinnest coat of paint or varnish, you'll still need a decent 60 or 80 grit sandpaper to get properly through. Where the pads do come into their own is for final finishing and smoothing wood, and for rubbing down between coats when painting - particularly on fiddly bits like mouldings and beading, where their ability to squidge into nooks and crannies is very useful. I will definitely be using them, and might even buy more when these are done, but as a addition to the sandpaper, not a replacement.

und für den Feinschliff bei meinen Holz Arbeiten unerlässlich. Super zu benutzen. Für die misten Arbeiten benutze ich sie 3-geteilt. Schöne praktische Größe. Die Standzeit ist wesentlich besser als Schleifpapier. Vorsicht ist an den Kanten geboten. Hier kann man sich auch mal einen Span absplittern. Das ist aber auch schon für mich der einzige Nachteil gegenüber Schleifpapier. Ich in sehr zufrieden mit dieser Qualität.
