Not worth the price
Dont be fooled by the good reviews like I was. Owned this for 4 months and I have to replace it. I have a cat that pees over the sides of most litter boxes I've tried, so I thought something enclosed like this would help. Quite the opposite, my cat pees on the sides and there's all these little grooves and cracks that the pee goes into and it leaks everywhere. I'm so sick of the mess, I tried to stick it out due to the price I paid for this but I have to get something else. Also as others have said the pan is very shallow so scooping is annoying. And if you like to lay something underneath your litter box it will just get stuck in the drawer each time you pull it out to scoop. Just overall a poor design.

Minor Leaking and Tracking
I bought this because I have a puppy that thinks the litterbox is a great place to stop for a snack. This was stressing my cat out. Luckily, this litterbox has eliminated that issueā¦the puppy is cute, but not smart enough to figure out the door lol. However, Iāve noticed there is a minor amount of tracking on top of the litterbox from where the cat jumps out, and the sides and bottom of the litterbox are not flush, so when she kicks some litter can fall out. I did expect a sturdier design given the price and was somewhat disappointed - Iām very careful when opening the drawer to clean the litter, it catches when I pull and feels like if I pull too quickly, it will break. Feels flimsy. Overall OK but not my favorite.

Good but needs minor redesign to eliminate gaps
I have a "litter flinger" named Jack. He's 5 months old and specializes in flinging litter out of his litter box. High sides? No problem. Jack's motto is "the higher the kick, the more I can flick." So I got this. He would not use it until I took the front door off. 𤨠He also refuses to use the top opening...even after I did several dramatic re-enactments to show him how...Just kidding, but I did try to help him learn by sitting him on top of it to get used to it and then trying to get him to jump up to me through the hole when he was in it. But for some reason, even though the front is totally open, he is not flinging the litter from the front anymore (fingers crossed) but he is still kicking it towards the back and sides. I read the reviews before purchasing this and saw where some reviewers were disappointed in gaps that allowed litter to get out. It was hard to envision what was happening until I bought it...Even though I made sure to snap this thing together tight, litter does somehow get out when he kicks it up on the ledge of the back wall. See my first pic which is a top down view. That tan line is where all the litter collects. It is a little ledge that the pullout drawer rests under. That second pic is a little pile of litter in a straight line. It's being knocked through a gap between the walls and the drawer. I keep an old bathroom rug down that I don't use anymore so I can shake the excess back into the box BUT some of the excess is being kicked beyond this little rug...which defeats the purpose of enclosed walls. When I have time, I'll examine it and see if I could close it with some caulk or tape without affecting the drawer function. I usually never give a product 4 stars when I have to doctor on it to fix a design flaw but for me it's such a step up not to have to clean up large amounts of litter scattered in every direction every single day. I was having to keep a broom vac next to the litter box plus a regular broom to get up litter that was too far under furniture for the broom vac to reach. I'm not even bummed that much that he won't use the top exit or the swinging door. He's young yet and only recently got brave enough to step inside any kind of covered box. (He was an injured rescue with trauma issues. He lost an eye.) I like the size of it too. It's longer than the litter tray I had and he can get a little bigger without outgrowing it. I do wish I could easily use my existing liners with it. I had just purchased three boxes of the really strong Fresh Step large liners with the draw string. They won't fit plus I'm not so sure how a larger liner would work either. I have a feeling that with all the kicking and flicking Jack does, it would lose its snug fit and cause the drawer to jam or not slide out easily when I open it. With a little redesign, this could easily be a 5 star item.

Bigger mess than itās worth
Edit: updating my review to 4 stars for the great customer service. The box had arrived late and the seller offered me a full refund.Loved the color and the cute little door. Assembled easily and felt sturdy. Probably a perfect size for kittens. I ordered the smaller one hoping it would work in my small space but for adult cats I would opt for the larger next time. My cats are a regular size and they didn't love the swinging door since the couldnāt stand partially outside the box to scratch or on any edges to give them a little more space to do business. The litter falls out around the edges when you pull out the tray that is fairly shallow and they left behind puddles of pee beneath the tray from leaking through the edges from peeing in the side of the inner wall. I loved the concept of the pull out tray for ease but it was more work to clean than a regular box. Next time Iāll try the larger version which I think would be more functional.

Litter box mixed feelings.
The idea is a good one. Assembly is awkward, it has 4 corner seals that fit snuggly, 2 plastic side pieces to block urine escaping. However my cats peel these pieces off easily and often. Super glued them in place. The tray is very shallow, making it more difficult to scoop. My cats only use the top entrance. This is probably better for kittens. For the price, I'm using it but I don't love it. Even my cats will select other boxes in the house. The vented top allows all odor to escape. It's is just okay.
