I love making Ceviche de Camarone. I should say I love eating Ceviche de Camarone, but I don’t enjoy chopping all the vegetables and getting them correctly sized so that you get a good mix of the ingregients on the chip. This tool is such a gamer changer. What normally takes me a long time to prep is completed in a fraction of the time and the results are perfect. I use the smallest frame to get perfectly and evenly diced onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, avocados and jalapenos. The shrimp I still cut by hand. I slice the vegetables about 1/4inch thick and then stack them on top of each other. Fast and easy to use. Cleans up easily as well. I have a lot of Starfrit kitchen tools and appreciate how well they all clean up. If I only use this for making ceviche, it was well worth the purchase. Tomato slices can be a bit tricky and messy as they are very soft and can get crushed by the pusher plate on the lid. To remedy this I top the tomato with an onion or cucumber slices. This prevents the tomatoes from being crushed.

I love this vegetable chopper, it makes it so much easy for me to chop all my vegetables that I use in my cooking… I would definitely recommend this to everyone…

IT has a lot of features and I haven't even used most of them months in, hah. I Usually use it to chop and sometimes thin shavings. It chops great and cleans pretty good. You can use the little scrapper brush to clean it or a wooden disposal fork does the trick to. Saves lots of time chopping and stores nicely in the container.

So I just dhinised using it and before we sit for dinner I wanted to write a quick review. I have had 2 of these cutter from differnt brands over the years. My biggest compalin was no lid. I prep veggies..need a lid...make a salad..perfect container ..but no lid.This one has 4 things going for it onto of all the differnt cutting tools:1. It has a lid!!!!2. It is much deeper, so I can cut more veggies3. It has little stoppers on the bottom to pre ent slipping...which is huge4. It cuts so easy I am not ruining my arthritis hands, and pushing down so hard.Would give this 10 stars. Very happy now going to ea, and any left over salad goes into the fridge with the container and it's lid.
