It does come with a little pack that you can heat up, but the opening is too small for a standard sized hot water bottle.

Where is the heat pad?

The lamb that I purchased did not include a heating pad, but had a removable heart that mimics a heartbeat. I assume that because of the plushness of the toy, it creates warmth when the puppy snuggles with it. I hope this helps.

It is not going to stay in. In my experience the product is poorly made. My pup loved it but I was constantly having to stitch up a seam.

What are the beads inside the heating baggy?

There aren’t beads there is a heating pad inside to put in a microwave
