Since this filter is highly transparent in the main nebulous emission lines to OIII (496nm and 500nm), H-beta (486nm), NII (654nm and 658nm), H-alfa (656nm) and SII (672nm), the filter is suitable for improving contrast and detail for both visual and photogrographic purposes in sub-rural areas with strong light pollution. Unlike other UHC and CLS pollution filters, L-Pro is a multi-pass filter that offers better color balance by maximizing the transmission bandwidth. Balanced transmission allows you to take astrophotographs with a minimum color dominant for broadband objects such as galaxies, reflection nebulas and globular star clusters. Recomendado. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effective broadband light pollution filter for OSC cameras *by C***E on 11 December 2021* I think a couple of lightly-processed photos of the rosette and helix nebulae taken from a bortle 8 with a 70mm refractor and a one-shot color camera do most of the talking. About 15 minutes of light each. This filter does a great job on cutting out all my local light pollution while letting in enough good broadband light that it doesn't take me all night to get one or two pretty pictures. Possibly less expensive filters might be adequate, but they didn't come with transmission curves.
