Great reachargeable housing kit for the gopros, it’s a headache taking the waterproof casing off and putting it on charge, this takes times and there is no need, this makes it more covinient and so much better to go when in a rush or on the go, the casing works well fits perfectly and feels very durable however is on the bulkier side which is expected

This item is useless. There is no way to block the cable entrance port when no cable is being used therefore a huge hole cannot be sealed in any way. Poor idea. Port design. Useless product.

Very well made housing, and cable connector. It is a bit funny to connect a cable when camera is in the housing, but after you did it, your problems are gone. I love it.

This is a good weather resistant solution to allow you to charge your GoPro while the case is on. The problem is that when the cable provided in this order is plugged in the GoPro, the GoPro goes into a charging mode that makes it inoperable. When the GoPro factory supplied charging cable is plugged into the GoPro it will charge while you can still operate the GoPro. The problem is you cannot make the factory supplied charging cable water resistant compatible with this product.Ideally the provider of this product would supply charging cables that are factory grade and allow the user to operate the GoPro while still charging it.

Ich habe das Gehäuse gekauft, um meine Hero 3+ am Motorrad mit Dauerstrom zu versorgen, und so ohne die lästigen Batteriewechsel unterwegs meine Zeitraffer/bzw. Videos aufzunehmen. Denn beim Batteriewechsel (>1 sec) geht leider das Datum immer zurück auf 1.1.2013 :-(.Leider ist das beigefügte (wasserdicht eingeschweißte) USB Kabel dafür ungeeignet. Der Teufel liegt im Detail.Wenn ich die Kamera zum Laden über USB an mein Bordnetz anschließe, leuchtet die Lade-LED. Ein Start der Aufnahme über die Aufnahmebutton ist nicht möglich.Drücke ich nun die Mode-Taste, erlischt die Lade-LED und im Display erscheint das USB-Symbol und das Batteriesymbol mit Ladeaktivität. Die Starttaste zeigt wieder keine Reaktion. (Bild1)Auch der Mode-Button zeigt keine Reaktion mehr. Dieser Zustand ist nur durch des USB-Kabels aufzuheben. Die Kamera blinkt und piept dabei mehrfach.Wenn die Kamera über Mode in den Kameramodus eingeschaltet ist und das USB-Kabel eingesteckt wird, springt die Kamera in den zuvor beschiebenen Modus. (Bild1)Ich habe mit anderen USB Kablen aus meinem "Fundus" getestet, die meisten reagieren genauso, bei 2 funktioniert es so wie gewünscht. (Bild2)Ich überlege noch, ob ich das Gehäuse zurückschicke, oder das "richtige" Kabel mit viel Silikon wasserdicht einbinde.Fazit, der Teufel liegt im Detail, auf die richtige Verdrahtung im Standardkabel kommt es an.Für die Idee gibt es zwei Sterne, für die mangelhafte Ausführung nix.
