You become a tree
when you use this shampoo. The smell is really intoxicating and alluring and kind of strange bc what other shampoo makes you feel like an actual tree? I will absolutely try other fragrances of shampoos this company makes.

Amazing!
Been using this stuff for years and every guy should honestly have it. While I do use it every day it really pays off on special occasions be cause it’s so fragrant it’s like having a nice mild cologne after you use it. The company has a lot of good hearted workers who care about delivering you a great clean product, check it out!

Really evokes that witch of the wilds vibe, highly recommend
Do you want to smell like an immortal forest being who spends their dreaming hours pillowed on a soft bed of herbs and evergreen needles?Or perhaps you prefer the perception that you’re a rugged hiker, lumberjack, or lumberjane, who somehow comes out of the woods with only the pleasant scents of the outdoors clinging to your hair.Either way, this is the shampoo for you. Not too masculine, not too feminine, not too strong. After all, you don’t want to smell like the whole dang forest is up in your hair. And it smells real, not like synthetic over-performing “fragrance.” I have migraines that are often triggered by scents, but this one is not a problem. The nitty-gritty: I work in a barn, so my hair is often filthy. This cuts through the sweat, grime, and oil like a pro, leaving my hair soft, manageable, and clean. I don’t find it too drying, but I do have oily hair so keep that in mind. A little goes a long way. Get the pump so you can dole it out with precision.

Great scent
I have been using alpine provision shampoos for a few months now. The shampoo works well, cleans good and smells fantastic if you like woodsy flavors. It does an excellent job cleaning the hair. Lathers up great and doesn't just slide out of your hand and down the drain when in the shower. So the aluminum bottle is fine and dandy, but have you ever tried to unscrew a lid off a bottle, hold the bottle in one hand, lid in the other, get your soap in your palm and then put the lid back on while trying to take a shower? Also, its pretty tough to "squeeze" the last bit of product out of the aluminum bottle. You end up shaking the bottle like you are mixing a martini in the shower just to get to the bottom of the shampoo. I'm not really sold on the bottle part. To make this product usable I decant the shampoo into a good old plastic shampoo bottle with a flip top lid. Also as far as the bottle goes, it does zero good for the environment if you just toss this empty aluminum bottle in the trash when you are done. You still have to recycle to make any difference, but then plastic bottles recycle just as easily so whats the point of the aluminum bottle? In short, if you are trying to save the world, recycle whatever material you consume, but if you are trying to wash your hair, this product works just fine. I would probably buy more of this product and use it more often if it came in a more user friendly bottle.

Scent is Meh, Product Seems Good
I’m insanely bummed because for the amount I shoveled out, I was truly hoping to be in love with the scent, but I’m just not. I was expecting to be immersed in joy, as I broke open the seal on the bottle, poured it into my hands and let the shower fill the scent of fir and sage riddled Forrest and instead it was an experience of…”ew wtf?” I was expecting a more prominent fir smell and I unfortunately didn’t get it…I didn’t get any fir smell at all. This scent is heavy on the sage side and I’m sure some will love it, but not I. I really appreciate the clean ingredients, I don’t appreciate that they sell pumps separately rather than providing one to first time customers. I won’t be buying again. (3 stars because I do truly appreciate their clean ingredients, very hard to come by)

Get to the root of it
This shampoo has a birchbark, earth, dirt, and first pulling a carrot out to the soil in the garden. It is very natural and leaves no waxy buildup. In fact, it seems to remove build-up on the hair. I follow it up with an intense but non-slimy conditioner. Your hair may feel dry after you rinse. In my opinion, your hair is actually cleaner than ususal. I love this earthy, natural scent. Also, the container is all aluminum and has some heft. It can be re-purposed for all kinds of cool things.

Yes. Get it.
I love this shampoo. I like the other scents they have as well. Clean ingredients, reef/ocean safe, essential oils scented (no nasty fragrance chems).I have fine, oily hair, and this gets it clean and lightweight. There’s no other shampoo for me, now. If the company ever announces it’s closing and all the shampoos disappear from the market overnight… it was me. I bought them all.10/10 would recommend.
