I'm not a body builder or a hard core gym freak, but I do what I need to do to stay healthy. I take a pre-workout and protien shake twice a day, once in the morning and once immediatly after my workout and that's all the workout supplements I take. I've used ON Gold Standard, Dymatize Elite, and Scivation Whey. I think they are all great and have a good taste and are also easy to mix, but I'm leaning more towards the Syntha-6. First let me say that the cake batter is the best tasting protien I've ever had, even my wife liked it (and she's very picky). Secondly, the mixability is good but I use the blender ball and that always gets it done. I did try to mix it one day without the blender ball and had some clumps, but nothing too bad. I felt like I had a noticable difference in the performance as well. I started taking syntha 6 after I took about 7-8 months off from the gym and I wasn't taking anything that entire time. I was literally starting out fresh. I've done this before and I knew the first 2-3 weeks would be the worst. Muscles swelling, cramps, aching and so forth, HOWEVER I had none of that. This was the first time I didn't have cramps or severe swelling. I didn't hold back either, I pushed and did the force rep method and even some drop sets. The Syntha-6 gave me quick recovery times and excellent support for muscle growth. It was immediate. I had people asking me if I had been working out by week 2. They could see it that fast. 2 scoops in the morning every day (on days and off days) and then 2 scoops immediatly after your work out will get it done. This is an excellent protien for the money and worth the try. I'm going to stick with this product for the long haul.

This protein powder product is the best I have tried so far. Granted, I used to stick to the cheaper brands that I found in Walmart, because I did not think there would be much of a difference. One of my friends suggested that I try this product and it exceeded my expectations. Taste: This product has a very rich fulfilling taste of chocolate cake, especially if you drink it with milk. There is a sweet taste accompanied with this slight saltiness that goes very well. Performance: I have tried a couple of protein powders that have not made me feel good after consumption. But this one is very good in that regard too. There's higher nutrients compared to most other protein powders that I found too. It is very filling, and it could be kind of like a placebo effect, but I have also felt that I recover really well after a workout with this product. Great product!!

The chocolate cake batter flavor has been my go-to for years. I have medical issues which cause me to be unable to eat as much as I should, without much appetite at all. Having a quick and easy protein source that I actually WANT and CRAVE to eat is so important to my health, so this stuff has been a literal lifesaver for me. It tastes sooooo good that I would 100% want to drink it every day even if it didn't have the benefit of protein. Tastes a lot like Swiss Miss hot chocolate in a way, but it's creamier than Swiss Miss even when you only add water! Let me repeat, this is creamy and delicious and perfect just with water! Not grainy or chalky, no bad aftertaste, doesn't taste like chocolate flavored water (even though it is). No joke. I've tried enough other brands to realize how rare that is in a protein powder. A+!

I ordered the chocolate cake batter flavor and was not a impressed, especially after trying SYNTHA-6 previously. I tasted to me like your run-of-the-mill chocolate protein powder except that the consistency was a bit thicker. I'm still giving it a good review, it is a great product (leaves you feeling full, packed with protein, mixes well) I just expected something a bit more. My review from the banana -- Wow when I bought banana protein I guess I was feeling quite adventurous. After clicking BUY my wife even suggested I might be disappointed especially ordering such a large tub - but I was happy to find the flavor was great! I read a bunch of reviews and one of them suggested that the flavor is along the lines of a banana milk shake you might get at a restaurant. I find that to be the most accurate description. It mixes up well with milk, soy, and even water and tastes like a desert (but leaves you feeling full and satisfied). I plan to buy again -- but I'm thinking that SYNTHA-6 might just have some great engineers on their flavors so I plan to try a few others. Due to my great experience with the banana flavor I decided to change it up a bit and now I'm ordering the strawberry.

This has a wonderful taste. Not chalky as some can be. Good mixed with water better with Milk.

Lets just say it... BSN has the best tasting and best texture of all protein powders. There. It's out there for the world to see. However, per serving, it's also the most expensive - by far and away. There isn't anything to dislike with this product. Mixes very well, tastes amazing, has great drinkability, and is a great formula. It just goes faster than any other powder because the scoops are bigger, and the servings count is about 20% less than other products given the weight of the tub (5lb tub of this = 48 servings. Other 5lb tubs go to the 65+ area). However, it's a great craving crusher kind of protein powder due to the amazing flavor.

i have tried many whey supplements available in the market today including optimum, muscle tech and arnold whey, but trust me BSN synth 6 tastes fantastic whether mixed with milk or water. mixes immediately and no wastage of time post workout n its critical when we look out of max protein absorption. secondly, this can be used as a meal replacement option, when considering slimming down. overall, if a product doesn't taste good, we lose interest in having it in the longer duration of time, 100% satisfied.
