Disgustingly effective…
I’ve been battling fungus gnats for almost two months now. I started with the yellow sticky traps you place on your plant and found they weren’t effective. However, I’d noticed that the gnats all seemed to congregate on my kitchen window. After much searching, I found and purchased these, stuck them in the four corners of my window and let them do their job. As the title says, they’re disgustingly effective. I’ve had to change them out a few times now, because they’re so covered in gnats. It’s super easy to attach/remove from the window and they don’t leave a ton of residue on the glass either. I highly suggest these.

This stuff works!
I have already gone through a pack of 20 and have seen well over 200 flies lose their lives to these. For effectiveness, it is all about where you place them. I had one on each panel of my sliding glass door, the stationary half captures the most, so now I place two on that side and none on the other. With the front door, I also have one, and it has done great. I tried one in the kitchen to no avail, so I use the apple cider vinegar and dish soap there. In the bathroom, I placed one to the side of the mirror and it did nothing, I then put it closer to the faucet and it has not caught several.I would suggest moving them around to find the best locations for them in your house. They have made a huge difference to the fly population around our house. They don't smell and they are not unsightly until flymagedeon is all over them. This is definitely a 5-star product!

Horrible sticky mess....
I have bought these in other brands and they worked perfectly. These are junk. Obviously, these fly traps had been stored in a warm warehouse/area before shipping, whereas, the large piece of plastic you pull off is so gummy that it won't come off without tearing against the glue on the inside...making large gummy streaks throughout the piece. Thus, nasty looking, not transparent at all and gummy looking obnoxiousness. Pass on these.

Sticky when used right it can catch a good chunk of bugs you never even knew were there!
This thing is a miracle worker! I'll put the sticky trap on the window and bugs are naturally attracted to light; so they'll eventually land on these sticky traps and get stuck. I've seen normal house flies to gnats to mosquitos to fruit flies on here. So it's definitely great-- however remember that there's no "attractant" on this so you're relying on the light from windows to lure the bugs in.I do find it a bit strange that there's a small strip of unstickiness on the sticky part. Not sure what's up with that but it's still a solid value either way.

Doesn't Work, It's Just Clear Tape
My garbage has lots of gnats always flying around it. I put the product directly above the garbage can inches from where the gnats fly. After a solid week and a half there was ONE gnat stuck to the tape. I imagine he was laughing so hard that I put it there as a "trap" and he accidentally flew into it. It's sticky, but there is no reason for the gnat to land on it. Why check out a piece of clear tape when there's a garbage can right there? May as well make a loop of duct tape and try that. Waste of $10.
