My dog got in it as soon as out was out of the box (I put the cushions in) and promptly fell asleep for 1.5 hours! I had to buy a second for a bed in the house!I've got an 8kg Westie and it's perfect for her. Room to move, lie down etc.The straps fit to the seat well. I did try it in the back with the straps round the 3/4 seat ... but it was VERY tight on the straps. Very tight, bed not properly on the seat. I use it in the front seat. In the front, it's a good fit.I'm not convinced about the strap to attach to the dog on the event of any accident, or to restrain a boisterous Westie! So, I'm not using itI'm favouring a seat belt attachment to click onto the dog's car harness. The strap seems flimsy, the tightener thingy didn't seem as firm and I'm not sure I'd trust it not to slip.I've never seen my dog take to a new seat so quickly. She loves it. And seems calmer in the car (on the two journeys I've used it so far).On the whole, I'm delighted with this product. I also love that all the cushions unzip and you can put the whole thing in the wash.

I have a minature dachshund puppy and he only would travel in the car being held but he absolutely loves this seat because it’s nice and cozy. When he did have an accident it was very easy to take the cover off and wash it. I have now bought a second one for my husbands car to save us moving it all the time. I would recommend to my friends with small dogs/puppies to get them used to the car

My dog absolutely LOVES this bed!We put it in the living room for a few days and he chose to sleep in there instead of his usual bed. Now it's in the car and he jumps right in; instead of doing all he could to avoid the car!It's really helped with his anxiety as he pushed his back right up against the back part and curls up.Definitely give this bed a try, it's saved us so much worry when travelling.Perfect car bed for our dog.

This is so lovely and soft for my little dog to sit in. Quite often she falls asleep in it on a car journey. Really easy to attach the straps to the car chair and one for the dog

Great value for money; well packed and quick delivery. It took 2 minutes to put together, really soft and fluffy, lots of room for the Pom (5kg so she is quite big), straps fit adequately in the car and around the passenger seat just fine. She jumped in it in the house and was really settled and comfy on the car journey. There is far more room that it appears in the pics and she takes up less than half the room. I would recommend and am happy with my purchase.

We have a adopted pup from China who sadly had a awful start to life. We bought her this and she loves it and makes her feel safe and secure. She is a miniature poodle and 3 years old.

The only thing that stopped this being rated as 5 is the fact it isn't that secure in the back seat. It's easy to construct its good that all padding can be removed so that it can be washed and as you can see my dog loves it.

I bought this dog car seat as my puppy was very nervous and kept shaking every time he went in the car, after reading the reviews of this product I decided to buy it, I’m so pleased I did, my puppy settled into it immediately and went straight to sleep, highly recommend
