I have used stainless steel presses for years (in fact, prior to purchasing this one, I bought/ returned a poor quality stainless from another manufacturer/seller on Amazon) so I feel confident in reviewing this one.After doing lots of research, I chose this over other stainless presses because of its unique styling and silicone handle ... but more importantly based on the reviews and manufacturer's response to inquiries.Unlike some others out there, the weld where the handle meets the pot is smooth and nicely finished. The double walled stainless is highly polished without blemishes and the spout is well designed so that the coffee won't drip on to the table. The cover fits snugly and the stainless mesh is fine so that the pressed grounds do not escape into the brew.I have only used it now for a few weeks but so far I find it makes an excellent coffee.It appears to be a well thought out and designed press.As I use it more and if my experiences warrant, I will update my review.FYI: For those who are new to french presses, I would recommend that you watch some videos on how to use one.UPDATE:I continue to love this press and in fact wanted another to give as a gift.I was able to communicate with a very helpful gentleman at the company headquarters.This company is very consumer friendly and responsive.I highly recommend them.

This was so close to being a really nice French Press that had a different look and feel to the mass-produced-but-different-brand-names all being offered throughout Amazon.So close...except for the stem being too short and thus disabling the PRESS feature which makes French Press coffee so good! They should have followed the classic rule of "Measure twice, cut once."!

This is such an amazing french press. It leaves minimal residue, keeps the coffee HOT for several hours, and still has that wonderful french press taste. It's somewhat heavy, which for me adds to the quality. The outside and the handle stay very cool so it's easy to handle and to clean after it's been used. I love that the press comes apart for easy cleaning.

After about 15 months of once a day use, the handle started feeling loose. This morning as I was preparing to wash the French press, the handle broke off entirely. I’m so glad I wasn’t pouring hot coffee at the time. It does it’s job well and keeps the coffee hot, I just would have expected it to last longer.

this is nice; it feels good in the hand; nice balance when full.holds heat for a good long while.the only cons:the handle is comfortable and a soft grip feel; but twists on it's core rod, but not too badly so far.the double-insulated lid slides easily on the plunger rod, so at some points, it's a 2-hand operation to top off the hot water going in, once you've set the mesh plunger in place.

this is my first experience with a french press and I love it! the silicone handle is very nice the size is perfect the coffee tastes wonderful and this item is sleekly designed. I also like that it is basically unbreakable. it looks nice in person than on the website. I definitely recommend it for the price!

Would definitely buy this French Press for the perfect cup of coffee and the end to broken glass french press. It's easy to clean and use. Love It.

Biggest flaw in the product is the spout bc it comes down so low you can't fill it all the way up or even close to the top. When you put the lid on to press it down, if its not to the bottom of the spout, grains will go shooting everywhere. This product was heavier than expected as I do work overseas and brought it over in my suitcase it was one of my heavier items.
