Cutting sheet metal
Worked great for cleaning up a hole I cut on my car to access the fuel pump from the top! Cut through super easy

Pretty much a requirement for sheep tetal work
Not sure why I waited so long to get these. If you are doing much of any sheet metal work you really need straight, left hand cut and right hand cut snips. These work just fine and I even noticed a friend who is a prof HVAC mechanic (sheet metal worker) had this same pairs of snips. Good quality and value for the money.

Broken
As an HVAC/R installer I have to be able to count on my tools. I’ve had the snips for about a month and use them every other day if not everyday. I was cutting out duct from the furnace return and they snapped in half. Maybe I got unlucky but I did enjoy the tools while they lasted.

Wiss is a great reliable tool. I’ve only used the cutters and they cut exceptionally well.

Don’t make them like they used to
Snapped like a twig on 16 gauge steel drip edge. That’s to bad because these suckers cut great. Until literally snapping.

Not like the old ones
The new cutters do not cut even close to a 15 year old pair we have. The design of the new ones is just a little different than the old pair. I don’t know if it’s a leverage difference or how the edges cut the material are not the same. We cut .050” copper and need a cutter that will handle it. The new ones just don’t cut it. Sorry!!!!!!

Well built
I use these as a commercial glazier. They are the best profile for longer cutoffs. This model has the serrated blades FYI.

Worst snips I have ever used.
The media could not be loaded. They do not cut as well as my old Wiss snips. And the get stuck together after every cut, even with the latch unhooked. Now that the company is Crescent Wiss the quality has gone waaay downhill

The green snips came defective
The media could not be loaded. I bought a pair of red and green snips the red one seem fine but the green one came greasy with a loose bolt on it and every time you squeeze to close it it won’t re open back
