I should have paid more attention to the listed size. It's smaller than expected. However, it is metal. My son can use it when he is older. But, as a young kid, he needs a larger item for now. I like that it's not plastic, and will actually last. The images on amazon are not going to show up - when it is next to other items - it won't show correct comparison. Images are manipulated, so even though it is pictured next to a larger item, it is NOT that size. Be aware.

Perfect little set to fit in my pencil pouch. Won't snap like my plastic ones did. To the people complaining that it was smaller than they thought, well don't you know how short a cm is? It shows very clearly on the ruler how long it is, that's on you. It would be nice if it had inches down the other side but I tend to work more in cm and mm in school anyways so it's fine.

I received these fast as with most items from Amazon. The quality is good.. But they could be a bit thicker. Don't throw them around or drop them repeatedly and they will be fine. With that said.. They are good quality and ahould last a long time with proper care.

The measurements do not start at the edge of the triangle. This isn’t that uncommon for inexpensive rulers, but it makes the right angle on the triangle less useful because you can not easily measure a distance perpendicular to a line by placing one leg on the line and measuring out on the other. The markings will be off by the offset.

I bought these cause my son kept breaking the plastic one. You still need to keep care of them, you can still scrape off the numbers.
