An early conclusion since I’ve only charged the battery once and used it in one flight, but it performed identically to my original DJI batteries. On first use in the Phantom 4 Pro I was prompted to do a firmware update which proceeded without issue. I’ll do a few more flights first but will probably buy another one. It’s disappointing that DJI no longer sells batteries for older models, but this is a perfect replacement at a better price. :-)

Nothing but errors from this battery. I was only able to use it for 1 charge cycle. First error upon insertion of the battery was "inconsistent firmware detected, slide to update". That process completed after a long delay. At the end of the flight following the very first charge I get a "battery signal disconnect" error white the drone is still running. I land and check the battery status in the app and it reads "invalid battery, contact DJI support". Upon removing the battery from the drone there was strong sour smell coming from the pack. I placed it in the middle of my driveway under a pot and called Amazon for a refund. They directed me to dispose of the pack at a facility that accepts depleted tool batteries (like Home Depot). I was weary about buying non-DJI batteries because of all the mixed reviews, but now I KNOW not to trust generic Phantom 4 batteries again.In all fairness to the review process, I must note that during the one-and-only flight on the battery (hovering 2ft above the ground) it did remain airborn for 28min.

Battery works fine, but great care to install. Gives a connection error when installed like the stock DJI battery. Just wiggle it into place and assure that all gaps between the battery and drone disappear.

Several flights with battery and it charges as it should. Flight time is as expected. As good as OEM as far as I’m concerned. In past I’ve only gotten about a years worth (almost 2 years on 2 of 5 batteries I’ve owned) of use out of any companies batteries I’ve used including DJI and I always make sure to use storage function on my charger which keeps them around 50% when I’m expecting to not fly for more than a week. Good value over others I’ve tried.

The battery charges up and functions in my DJI Phantom 4. The run time is more or less as advertised. I have had it now for about 3 weeks. No issues yet; works as good as the OEM. The original battery from DJI lasted just about a year (enough time for the warranty to run out) before going into some error mode where the drone would no longer recognize it.

Update: this vendor was very good to work with. They quickly resolved the problem of a defective battery and I received a good one a couple days later. I will buy from them again. *This battery is a good option. I purchased two of them a couple months ago and one still works great. This one, however had a small piece of plastic break on the connector and now it’s useless because it will bend the connection in the drone. I’ve only used it a couple of times and I’m always careful with my batteries. It’s past the return time, so hopefully the company will respond to my requests for a warranty replacement. I’ll update my review once I hear back from them.
