Easy to apply but audio lessons at the internet don't match with all chapters.

I am a certified EL teacher and currently work in an elementary school. I often get to know the families of my students and often volunteer in the summer to help parents who want to learn English better. I have used this book and really like the colorful visuals, the online component, and the opportunities for practicing all 4 domains of language learning: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The online component allows learners to practice at their own pace. I would definitely recommend using this study program in conjunction with face-to-face meetings to clarify information, practice, and motivate learning.

I teach English privately for adult Arabic speakers and this product (plus the online modules to help them hear the pronunciations) is excellent. I would NOT recommend this product for self-study because some of the exercises require an English speaker to help the student figure out the objective. You don't have to be an expert in the student's native tongue to teach this course; using a computer translator will suffice when you need to define a word. While I don't believe there is any substitute for official English classes with a professional, this is entirely adequate to get them started on the right path. Some of my students are completely English illiterate and this course has helped them pick up conversational English in a few weeks.
