I have had occasional heartburn for many years. Also, anytime when I enjoy BBQ at family reunions or eat large meals with friends, I’ll surely experience bloating and indigestion. I’ve tried probiotics, multiple enzymes,and some OTC gas pills, but none of them seem to work for me. My gastroenterologist told me I am not GERD yet but my geriatrician said I am among one of the millions who have worn out digestive systems while aging, neither of them offered a cure though. I’ve long been aware that conventional medicine is not a health care system but a disease-care system – it treats diseases (actually often times treat symptoms only as in the cases of heartburn and bloating) not enhancing your health. I also knew, from the book Why Stomach Acid Is Good For You, that herbs are good natural relief preferable to chemicals, yet I didn’t see any herbal products that fit my case. Luckily, I found Dr. Long’s digestive formulas, which worked out great for me. I purchased both the gas and bloating formula and the Reflux formula during the holidays when I got the “reunion BBQ bloating” again as usual. Within a couple of days, the gas formula significantly reduced my bloating feel. In a couple of weeks, my belly didn’t feel cold and sluggish anymore, instead, it’s a warm and solid feel in my belly that I have not had in many years. What a wonderful reunion!!! The tablets accompanied me through Christmas and NO BLOATING anymore! Amazing! So encouraged and excited, I opened the reflux bottle, which smelled different but samely pleasant. In the following days, I had a better appetite, felt more energetic, and slept better. It has become my ritual once getting up each morning, that I rush to the kitchen and open the bottle to sniff the smell of maltish herbs. Will order again. Highly recommended!

I tried this for a few days, seemed to work at first, but noticed on the 2nd day I was getting hearburn more often, so I tried taking more (Only what was recommended). One the 3rd day I had horrible stomach cramps and heartburn and discontinued product. Maybe it was just me, but didn't want to continue.

I get bad acid reflux. I'm always interested in trying something that doesn't require me to take omeprazole every day. This was okay. I still had reflux with it, but less. I just don't like that you have to take 5 tablets every time you want to use it. I just think it is a little on the expensive side if you have to take it 2 or 3 times a day.

I became sick on these and tried for a week to make sure it was this product. I have asked a nutritional chemist friend to test the product to see if there are contaminates. This product is sourced form China and though I utilize holistic health, I am suspicious of the quality of the contents and if it has what they claim.

These small pills have a very strong odor but can be easily swallowed. The directions say to take 5 up to several times a day as needed. It seems to be helping but it's only been a few weeks. I think it's worth getting another bottle to continue the experiment.

I like this product for heartburn.

It seems to work. But more time is needed to find out the effectiveness. This strong herbal supplement gives me a strong aftertaste but it seems to calm down my upset stomach a bit.

I have GERD and I've been trying to use this to see if it helps and I must say that it have been helping a little bit after using it for 1 week. Haven't fix my GERD by any means but it does have help in not making it as intense so I guess it must be doing something. Since it is natural it might be a nice alternative for you so I recommend it!
