Geiger Volume 1

This series was very good the Art was Superb and the story was interesting, Tariq Geiger is very cool I am looking forward to future stories with this character.

This was so fun read, I’ve always enjoyed John’s writing, but this was a nice change of pace. New ideas new characters Fantastic art. This series was I nice departure from the typical superhero stories that John’s had told in the past. I’m all in.👍👍

I say feel good because its rare in post apocalypse stories to have happy endings. Its appropriate for kids too, not just because of that. There isn't any profanity or sex throughout. Its not needed to tell the story though.

If you like Geoff Johns, this is a book for you. It's a gripping story that you don't want to put down. I wanted to finish the story but at the same time I didn't want it to end. Good. Stuff.

The story captures and holds the attention, but the rendering and artwork are superb, making this a good read. 👍

Man! This series has had me hooked! I can’t wait to read more of Geiger! Such a different type of hero. Very refreshing!

I don’t know exactly what drew me to this series. Perhaps that first issue with the mushroom cloud cover, perhaps it was reading other people’s reviews, perhaps it was looking at a sample of the first few pages. Maybe just a combination of everything, but one things for certain, this series has not disappointed! Start to finish it was master class story telling. It had a good amount of grit to it without going overboard, plenty of action, never got boring, and even in the slow moments the structure was so good and compelling that I didn’t really want the story to end. And what an ending, literally had me on the edge of my seat, something I hadn’t expected. They did all the things right, and was very good at hitting the right emotions at the right time. I can’t wait to see what else they do in this world.Side note: I read through the 80 page giant special comic. It’s not the same as this Volume 1 (issues 1-6) so don’t go into that with expectations. It’s really it’s own thing of short stories.

Really enjoyed the story, was hooked throughout. Setting was interesting and art style top notch. The book arrived with a ripped/dented corner, though which was disappointing. Doesn’t look great on the shelf but these things happen. Might purchase my next version at a local shop.

Always been a fan of Geof Johns and Gary Frank and together for this particular storyline it was just amazing. I'm more into the arts idea of things so having a top notch artist like this illustrating and just going all out on each panel of each page, just wow. If you're a fan of the Fallout TV show or post apocalyptic stories with great artwork, then this is definitely for you.
