I want it in a drawer until needed and then stand it on the worktop** A: I would think it is possible, but to be honest, it won't be stable and as you go to crush the can, will probably slide across the worktop. Needs screwed to a solid surface, I have mine screwed to the inside of my walk in larder and it is fantastic.
