Universal Body Labs TransGenX Tape for FTM Chest Binding

Love this. Often forget I'm binding when using this stuff Can cause blisters if there's too much overlapp or folding in the tape. Can tear the skin if applied too tightly or removed incorrectly. Make sure you research jow to apply and remove this stuff if you're a beginner with trans tape. Otherwise absolutely fantastic binding option. Adhesive hasn't caused any reactions on skin. Bind safely :))

I was excited to try this tape, because I have a really good binder but it’s so uncomfortable and I thought this would be perfect for me. The tape is very stretchy, and didn’t really cause me any discomfort or skin irritation. However, unfortunately it just didn’t work for me. I have a B/C chest so I wasn’t too hopeful anyway but I feel like I’ve wasted my money because I’m unable to send this product back. It didn’t make me look flat at all, it just squished them down a bit where the tape was placed, but was still sticking out of the sides. I tried putting the tape on in different ways, or putting multiple strips on but it did nothing for me. The tape was a bit too stretchy so it didn’t really push anything down, more just pulling it. I think this product would work perfectly for somebody with an A sized chest, but if you have any bigger I think you might want to try a binder instead. If you’re unsure that this is going to work for you, then I wouldn’t recommend buying it because I’ve wasted my money now.

I bought this tape for my boyfriend, and while it was definitely a learning curve for him to apply, it seemed to stick really well! But as soon as it got wet it kept trying to peel off all of the time, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a binder alternative for swimming. Aside from that though, it seemed to be good quality. Just remember to wear pasties underneath!

Not transgender but I bought this as some of the other body tapes I have bought have not been brilliant and I heard good reviews about this one and it holds really well and doesn't tend to lift. Good product

First time using tape. I managed to get it to stick but needed a lot, not much for the money. Had to use a lot to get a decent hold. Got it to stay on for 5 days but it’s left my skin red raw and the adhesive is very hard to get off even With hot water and oil

This simply didn't work for me. I guess jts one of those things. Arrived in a timely manner and decently packaged though

It holds on amazingly, it's flexible and comfortable. It came on time and in perfect condition, will buy again!

Just honestly get the kinesiology sports tape especially if you are new to tape binding. The width and amount you get from this one is very poor. Stickness is not great and stretch isn’t either. If you are larger chested then honestly just buy the sports tape version

The other side of the tape has a grid so you can measure the same amount to cut everytime, which is nice and convenient. It’s really easy to apply and super sticky. Peeling it off doesn’t hurt at all. The only downside I’d say is that the corners peel quicker than I expected. For me it takes less than a day, but I wonder if it’s how I apply it? Great price.

I'm appalled at all the comments where ppl say they wore this for MULTIPLE DAYS. You should not be doing that!! It is not good for your skin... I don't care what tutorials tell you, if your skin is blistering or god forbid OOZING that should be enough to tell you you shouldnt wear a strong adhesive on a large section of skin for extended periods of time. Why do you think casts aren't adhered to your skin?? ANYWAY. I feel like this probably works best for smaller chested ppl like myself. It works just fine for me. I even live in the desert whjere it regularly hits over 100F half the year, and even with all that heat & sweat it still sticks. Very impressive honestly. I also use it in combo with reusable/washable pasties so there's less sticky tape on the most sensitive areas. highly recommend that strategy. But regardless, you MUST remove your tape at the end of the night. There is ZERO reason to sleep in it. I understand its pricey and there may be an urge to extend the life of each use, I feel that urge myself, but its not worth it to damage your skin like that. If cost is that much of a factor you'd do much better to stick to non-disposable methods such as binders or sports bras. Also, just use the band-aid method folks. Rip it off all at once haha.
