Handy heat
These little sachets of heat are just the thing. They warm up quite quickly, fit snugly into your glove and keep your hands toasty warm. We've also successfully tried re-using them. If they've only been out for a couple of hours the reaction can be halted by popping the sachets into an airtight ziplock bag to be used again next day. I'm glad that I've tried them.

Great- they do what they are supposed to do.
Lovely and warm! I’ve suffered with very cold hands with even the slightest drop in temperature. I was always sceptical about these products. You need to wait a few minutes for them to start warming up, so get them out before you put your coat and boots on. The fact that you can also stop the chemical reaction and use them on another day is great. I used my first pair on 3 days for different dog walks. Ok..... the third day they weren’t as hot but definitely good enough to keep my hands warm for the dog walk. I got these because I wanted their Heat3 system gloves that are fantastic for photographers. Double layer -mitten over glove and accessible fingers and thumbs to use your camera AND fit a head pad in the mitten part! I’ve researched gloves for photography for years and these are the first I’ve found that do the job. I also got the toe warmers- also great. money well spent.

Barely warm
These are completely ineffective. I used two packs (4 warmers) thinking that perhaps the first pack was a dud, but unfortunately both packs were equally useless. They barely got lukewarm. They provided no benefit above simply putting my hands in my coat pockets. I wish I’d tried them earlier so I could have returned them on discovering that they don’t actually work. I would not recommend these at all.

luke warm and done within an hour
I've never felt strongly enough about a product to write a review before but these are absolutely rubbish. They arrived today and I thought I would test one out before putting them to use. It says on the packet that the maximum temperature these reach is 42degrees C which I would say is accurate, which means they feel warm, at best, to the touch. It takes around 15 minutes to20 minutes to reach maximum temperature and this is maintained for around another 20 minutes. An hour after starting they were slightly warmer than ambient temperature. It says these stay warm for 11 hour and that might faculty correct, they might still be generating some heat 11hour later but getting any useful warmth from them after the first hour would be impossible.

Kind of warm, but not hot.
I use heat packs on my back a lot and those really heat up - I was expecting a similar temperature from these while snowboarding this winter in Val Thorens - but honestly they were warm but not really enough to make a difference.I opened them up, they are air activated, but they didn't get beyond "kind of warm" - I then tried to put them in my gloves but I couldn't feel any difference really. I would really dispute the claims of "Extra warm" and "12 hours of heat".These might be fine if you are camping and want to warm up a little on a chilly night - they are no good for snowboarding on the mountain.

Great gear!
It does take about 15 minutes to heat up so make sure you open it before hand.We used these in Norway during winter and it was such a great help dealing with the freezing temperature while out and about in the snow. Especially if you are staying out for long periods - say with the camera waiting for the Northern Lights. The only draw back we had was that we should have bought some feet warmers as well. Ended up using some hand warmers in the shoes where there space, not ideal but it worked as a quick fix at the time.Recommended if you are looking for non rechargeable warmers.

Just amazing!
This is a lovely and effective product. Bought those to go in trip to Iceland and they work perfectly keeping your hands warm for hours. Ideal to put inside your gloves or pockets they will last about 13 good hours. Strongly recommended! I also bought the foot warmers and they work percebeu l perfectly too.

Ineffective and utterly useless plus bulky and heavy.
Bought these for my Kilimanjaro trip and they just did not work. Other members has purchased another brand which worked just fine. I had to eventually throw away all the hand warmers. What a terrible product and waste of time and money. I had to suffer the cold on high altitude days. I wouldn’t trust this product especially on trips such as Kilimanjaro. You could die of hypo thermia if you this product was your plan.
