Worked as advertised! Made my room more clean-looking.
I live in a small apartment with no washer or dryer so I keep 2 small Haier units plugged into my kitchen, with the wires running across my hallway. For a long time, we just covered the wires with a rug, but now that we have cats who love to tangle themselves up in rugs and sometimes pee on then, it was time to make an upgrade. The cord protector did arrive rolled up tight and hard to flatten, but we just rolled it in the opposite direction and put some weight on it for a few minutes, and it flattened out just fine. If it had stuck, I'd have just doused it in hot water or used a hair dryer to relax the rubber. We trimmed ours into 2 pieces and managed to fit 2 cords into each part, which totally solved our wire problem. We didn't use any adhesive because we need to be able to sweep under that area, but haven't had any issues with it moving or sliding.Overall, solid product! Wish it was a little cheaper, but whatever.

Absolutely amazing!
Holy cow. I wasn’t expecting much for the relatively inexpensive price tag, but the quality far exceeds expectations.Every inch of it was useable and the 5ft easily covered two doorways. No staining, damage, and from what I can tell seems resistant to scuffing. It’s thick, solid plastic. Honestly it looks professionally installed, you can’t even tell it’s not the original carpet edge.Physically bending it yourself won’t straighten it out. All you need to do is grab a mixing bowl, pour a hot kettle over the plastic, and let it sit for a few seconds. Make sure all parts get submerged for a few seconds at a time, until the whole thing is floppy. Then just lay it out on the ground and let cool, and you’re good to go! Even the very wrinkled center of the spool straightened out no problem.10:10, if you have a need for a cable cover then you can’t do better than this.

Very stiff & curled but seems sturdy
I cannot give a full review of how this product will work out after it’s installed. But, I want to give this advice. I read other reviews saying it’s stiff. But let me tell you: it comes rolled up & is very stiff. I recommend taking it out of the package as soon as you get it and letting it lay flat for several days, maybe a week with heavy stuff placed on top. I’ve been doing this for a couple days off & on and it’s mostly flat, now. Also, because it’s so sturdy & strong, it was hard to cut with scissors neatly. I ended up sanding/ filing the ends. I am making a right angle turn by cutting it. I ended up using gardening shears. My razor knife blade couldn't get through all the layers smoothly. This should mean that after its installed, it should be sturdy enough to protect my cords. Also, it says it’s only meant for 1 cord, and that’s probably correct. I am covering a thick surge protector cord and a narrow thin ethernet cord together & they barely seem to fit.I’ll try to update after it’s fully installed.

Hides and protects the cord for recliner
This cord protector works fine for connecting my sectional recliner to the wall outlet. Even the robot vacuum has no problem climbing over it instead of getting caught up in the cord. Also, the beige neutral color blends well and is non-intrusive.

Good product with one serious flaw (see picture)
This is a good product with one significant problem. The material is heavyweight, it's easy to insert cords in the back groove, and the beveled edges reduce tripping hazard compared to just having a bare cord running across the floor. The problem is that the product arrives tightly coiled in the box, and the last foot or so is actually coiled in the reverse direction, presumably for some efficiency in the manufacturing process. The result is that the last 1 1/2 to 2 feet are bent in an S-shape, and the material doesn't return to flat, even after being out of the package for a while. I tried bending it back into shape, setting it out in the sun in the hope that the heat would help it settle, but it remains stubbornly bent. The curve is so strongly set into the material that the included adhesive tape won't keep it stuck to the floor. I'll probably have to just cut off the last foot or two, but then I'll end up with a much shorter cover than what I ordered. Good product, but the poor way it was sent means I can only use about half of the strip.

Easy to install.
It looks nice and was easy to cut and install. One side stuck just fine to the carper and the other end did not stick. I think given enough time, it will uncurl enough to stick on this end also. We have one floor outlet in living room which is under the love seat so we are using an extension cord to reach the sofa, thus the need for a wire cover. color is a close match to the carper.

Does what it is supposed to do.
If you need to run a wire across the open floor this works great. I used this for cable TV wire, RG6 but I have also used it for lamp cords. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it comes rolled up. You need to unroll it and weigh it down to get it to lay flat I laid it out in the sun for several hours to speed up the process. But the last few inches would not go totally flat. Luckily I did not need the whole 5 feet so I cut it off. I could not use the double backed tape on the carpet.
