There are lots of different scrubbers for cast iron pots that work well, but most of them tend to either corrode or get full of food crud over time. This one can be easily rinsed out and tossed into the dishwasher to keep it clean. I haven't had mine long yet, but it seems sturdy. It's also weirdly fun to play with the chain mail fabric -- my kid is always "borrowing" it from the kitchen. :)

Seams are not welded so the links continually fall off. Had to stop using it because I don't want to kill my garbage disposal. If they were welded or better connected, I would love the product.

If you have cast iron, this chainmail scratcher is a natural must-have to clean your pans without destroying the seasoning. I bought these for my grown children, as well.

This has been great to scrub cast iron and glass baking dishes. Glad I finally broke down and got one.

Gave this as a gift with a nice traditional dutch oven. Used properly these are great.
