Well... There is "NO SCRATCHING" sound (like fingernails on a chalk board). There is however, a subdued rubbing sound like you'd get if you rubbed any polyester material. Unless you have super sensitive hearing at the sound wavelength generated by rubbing the material, you should not experience any negative sound experience...
