The Aristocats

I got this DVD for my daughter. She loves Disney and all things animal. Not my type of movie. Still, pretty good. I didn't feel actual physical or psychological pain. Totally bearable and she adored it.

Beautiful movie

I’m a big collector of physical media, and while I have built a solid Disney collection, I tend to focus more on the lesser known films of their history. The aristocats is a perfect example of this. It’s a perfect example of the classic Disney animation found in films like 101 dalmatians or the jungle book. It also happens to be the last film that Walt Disney approved in his lifetime. Well, the story itself isn’t anything amazing (a mother cat and her kittens travel the French countryside with a rogue tomcat trying to get home) it has the advantage of a lot of charm, humor, and great voice work bye actors like Eva Gabor, Sterling, Holloway, and Scatman Crothers. This is a definite favorite and if you’re looking for something different with Disney, this is a good example of a lesser known, but still classic film.
