Boys' Active Performance Mesh Basketball Shorts

I bought these for my six year old but since there are no size charts I went off reviews to order. The Large clearly says size 10 upon arrival. So I’ll have to give them to my 8 year old. So that’s frustrating but the quality are great especially for the price. These are comparable if not nicer than Kohl’s jumping beans and they’re comparable if not slightly less in quality (hardly noticeable) than Targets’s Cat and Jack shorts. They’re much cheaper than Target though and shipping and ordering through Amazon is quicker and easier than Target too. I like these and would buy them again. In fact I will because now my six year old needs shorts. Please list a size chart. If I didn’t see one make it more obvious because I’ve had really good luck with Amazon kids clothes. I think one brand is Zebra Stripe or something. I’ve gotten boys and girls clothes. They’re basic, high quality cotton and wash and dry well. These of course are basketball material shorts. Not too thin but you can tell they’ll dry quickly and be cooler to wear in the hot weather.

The size is a medium which is typically a boys 10-12. These are an 8 as printed inside on the tag. Wayyyyy to short and too tight. Not happy as we are trying to get our child to the gym to build healthy habits and this set us back since we had to go to make a special trip to a store instead.

My daughter, who is tall and thin, wanted longer shorts to wear for gym type activities. So we went hunting in the boys section. These are soft and long. I like the waistband. they are colorfast and wash well. We highly recommend these.

Nice shorts - fit really nicely on my 7 year old son who is long & lean.These are lightweight, great for packing and for warm spring/summer days.I ordered the navy blue & red 2-pack, but a 2-pack with medium grey & bright lime green arrived instead. I thought about exchanging, but my son actually really likes these 'surprise' colors- especially the bright lime green, so I just kept them. The bright lime green has medium grey stitching- looks particularly good with a grey shirt.I'd buy again despite the color mishap.

Runs small and the fabric was not athletic type as expected. Returning, will not reorder.

I bought two pairs of shorts. Upon washing one pair for use, it shrunk an entire size and no longer fits! It is past the window to return, and there is no way to contact the seller! As a parent who is trying to keep up with a growing child this is frustrating and should not happen. Contact and return for an issue like this should be easy through Amazon Essentials! It is not =( Would not recommend this product if your child will grow!

The waist line is really small and tight. My son says it fits. But I feel it is tight on him. It leaves a mark on his waist.

Ok so my son is almost 7yrs hes as tall as a 9yr old & is about 100lbs hes husky for sure. Usually in these types of shorts I buy a size L/XL depending on what they look like & the large is usually a 10-12 so unfortunately when I was looking at the sizing chart wrong lol. Where it said age I thought it meant US sizing & after reading reviews i thought they ran small but I am here to let you know they dont run small at all actually I think they run true to size if not maybe a little big. I wind up ordering my son a XXL & they are too big but beings they have a drawstring & i rolled them once they will get us through until his uniform shorts arrive. On the plus side he now has 2 pair of shorts thatll fit him next summer or to lounge around. Besides the sizing the fabric is nice, drawstring & pockets are always good so yea sizing is average & depends on how u want them to fit!

Shorts fit my son as expected. My son likes them and they are comfortable. They are thinner than I expected but good for the price.

I ordered a size 11-12 for my son and received an XXL that were too big even for my husband

sent xxxl instead of boys 11-12 these shorts are huge do not buy.

It's great quality and fit. My son uses these for tennis training.

Great material very comfy. My little boy loves them.
