This only a general overview of remote start car alarms systems. You would be better off surfing you tube, or attending the installers institute school in Florida, which seems like a top notch school.

The video was quite informative and pointed out some important potential pitfalls for an inexperienced or DIY installer, yet some steps discussed were not in the video. To be fair, I'm sure the soldering and wire connections are in an other introductory video on on installing stereos, etc.

It covers the very basic installation. You can find better videos on YouTube. I don’t recommend buying it.
