Good value if you're going to be using the sports jug.
Previously I'd been using a basic Philips blender, a no-nonsense blender with no sports jug feature, and around £10 cheaper than this model. In terms of performance, absolutely no complaints, and this blender does everything that the Philips one does. Blending power is good and consistent, chunkier items do need some prodding and shaking the get the blending process going 'smoothly. You have all the settings you need slow/med/fast/pulse, so blend as chunkily or as smoothly as you want. It works well on everything from soups to sauces and iced coffees. The lid attaches securely, so there are no issues with spillage or spray. The sports jug is a bit of a gimmick to me, a smaller blending just with the convenience of being able to drink from it straight away. As with the main jug, the lid fits securely, so there's no spillage, and you can blend something before leaving work and put it in your bag for the commute. It'll be fantastic for many people, but it's not something I'll use very often. My main issue is one entirely of personal preference, I'm not a fan of plastic jugs on blenders, In my experience they can trap flavours/scents and can discolour after a while. There's been no evidence of that here, and while there may never be, I'll never be 100% behind plastic blending jugs.At £60, it's a little overpriced for my liking, given you can get a solid workhorse glass blender from a bigger brand for around the £50 mark. That being said, if you are going to get good use out of the sport jug feature, it'll definitely soon justify its price.

2 that didn't work
All I can put for this blender is 1 star. I was really excited to get it (sad I know but that's all I have to look forward to these days) the first one came had no power to it at all... trust me the plugs were on.. if my toaster would work why wouldn't the blender. Asked for a replacement because I really wanted the blender... second one came, would you believe the same thing happened. Again no power, I could have cried.
