These images are known by puzzlers to be challenging at any size or piece count and these delivered on that promise. They were quite hard with lots of mis-fits, but there is a faint image on the back that can be used to check yourself along the way. These are not for children. They require patience and determination even for experienced puzzlers. I did find the challenge rewarding but I can see some people just getting frustrated with them.

I love to puzzle and these are great for gift giving and traveling. Small enough to fit in a purse and to make on a small table. Will buy more

Please note that I have done several mini jigsaw puzzles before, so I know how difficult they can be; however, these puzzles are in a nightmare category all by themselves. 1. The pieces frequently fit perfectly where they don't belong. In a normal puzzle, you can tell right away, but when dealing with the number of colors on every piece on an Impressionist's picture, the result is almost impossible to discern until much later, when other pieces don't go where they obviously belong. 2. To remove a piece from where you thought it fit, but didn't, it's very hard to do without the piece starting to separate into several paper layers, no matter how carefully you do it. 3. The back edges of almost every piece are crudely cut, so that there is a rough-feeling lip wherever there's an edge. That even interfered with the piece being able to sit properly in place. I eventually had to trim down many of those back edges using a NAIL FILE. 4. The back needed to have more of an all-over design subtly added, so that we could tell if 2 pieces really did go together by turning them over. 5. I actually threw out the puzzle after completion because it was so unpleasant to do. 6. As an added point, of the 3 puzzles I was supposed to receive, they sent me 2 of the same design, and 1 other. Normally, I'd give away the duplicate as a gift, but I don't hate anyone enough to foist this on them. 7. This was the lowest-quality puzzle I've ever encountered at any price. GARBAGE.

I’m rating this based on my personal enjoyment of the product. If you like hunching over a table over a magnifying glass and cursing and ripping out sections of your puzzle because something was “off” an hour earlier, this product might be okay for you. Otherwise, read on. These were some of the most challenging puzzles I have ever done. They are more difficult than regular puzzles because the pieces are so small. You could put a puzzle in a location where it seems right and it fits, only to realize an hour later that it was the wrong piece and it was just a coincidence that it had the exact same puzzle piece cut as the correct piece. Very frustrating. But then again, what can you expect with puzzle pieces that are so small? The puzzle piece cuts will be quite homogeneous because they are too tiny to introduce much variance in the shapes. Beyond just the shapes, they are too small too show much of an image pattern on each individual piece. When I did starry night, at the end I had 20+ pieces that just looked like blue and white swirl paint strokes. There was little imagery to use for completing the pattern. I took photos of the two I completed. I left one piece out of the flowers to show individual piece size more clearly, but they did send me all the pieces. In Starry Night, I show how small the thing is (and I have very small hands). I never attempted the Rhône, and never will. It would literally destroy me too even attempt it.
