Try it, you will like it!
If you know what this is, then this is it. This one comes with sesame seeds mixed in. While it wasn't bad, if sifted them out to get the texture I was looking for. For one cup I use 1 Tbsp of sahlep, 1 t sugar, and 1/8 t cinnamon. Ummm!

Good taste!
It arrives faster that what I was expecting because it shipped from Egypt. It tastes very well. I would love if the seller includes preparation instructions and also the ingredients. It expires within 6 months so I hope I will finish it before the expiration date.

No list of ingredients and no preparation instructions
I had hoped for a little more information about what was shipped to me. No list of ingredients; no instructions for preparing anything. There was only a bag of powder with the texture of cornstarch with random sesame-looking seeds.After several attempts to prepare the substance, there was no thickness to it. There was a milkyness look to it, with a bland flavorless taste - even after adding sweetener. It was a huge disappointment.The 1 Star was for the generous amount of ingredients sent along with an Egyptian gift bag

Good product, needed more Salep concentrate.
Good product. I would have expected more Salep flavor. I bought some more from a local store. But this one far exceed the local bought in flavor and price.Wish price is less, and more Salep concentrate.

Unsealed, unmarked product
I received an unsealed, unmarked bag of white powder. It may be top quality sahlep, but this is definitely not a sanitary product intended for individual sale. It looks like somebody made this in their kitchen with a plastic sandwich bag.

It a hot drink! Its a pudding! Its comfort!
What a wonderful way to remember my time in Turkey. The mix was perfect, unlike pre sweetened mixes this allowed me to make it as sweet as I like and sweeter for my husband. Theb only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is there was no instructions, otherwise its a great staple to have in your cabinet.

Doesn't quite taste like the original
Doesn't quite taste like the original. It came in unmarked hand-filled plastic bags which makes me question whether it was handled with all sanity precautions.
