The Psiber Data PRO7615 PingerPro Plus Fiber and CT15 Tone Probe is a portable network testing device for analyzing and testing gigabit Ethernet networks over copper and fiber optic cable. The Pinger Pro stores and performs automated tests that conduct standardized testing and provide connectivity, device, port, and security information to help identify and analyze problems in an organization's network infrastructure. Link tests verify copper or fiber cabling connectivity and connections at 10/100/1000BaseT over copper and 1000BaseX over fiber. Detects PoE (Power over Ethernet) and tests cables and identifies faults including opens, shorts, miswires, and split pairs for network maintenance and troubleshooting. The PingerPro supports both IPv4 and IPv6 addressing for compatibility with location and identification protocols, and provides 802.1x authentication to verify access to secure networks. The Psiber Data PingerPro 7615 Plus Fiber has a 2.8" diagonal LCD touchscreen to display navigation and test results. It can store up to 1,000 test results for review. It comes with PingerPro Tools Applications software for storing, analyzing, and reporting test results. The PingerPro Plus Fiber comes with a terminator, a single mode 1310nm small form-factor pluggable (SFP) transceiver, a multimode 850nm SFP transceiver, an AC power adapter, a RJ-45 patch cable, a USB cable, a stylus, a case, a strap with two buckles, and instructions.

A good BASIC tool for Network Admins, but don't waste your money
Before I used a Fluke Qualifier so I was familiar with the menus, the tests, and the overall performance for the last 7 years. This does what you'd expect in a single-jack tester and network tester. It does the basics very well and the simple menus are easy to learn.PROS: 1)Tests both copper and fiber terminations with wiremap and lengths.2) Test results are saved into a professional looking report.3)The battery is rechargeable using a standard USB cable.4) I was able to locate a connected cat6 run on the switch by using the "Port ID" in order to slowly flash the LED on the switch.5) This kit comes with a case and molded cut-outs inside.CONS: 1) ONLY ONE TERMINATOR SUPPORTED. You can buy more (@ $40) but you will NOT see a numbered term. in the test results. This is a VERY BAD DESIGN as most outlets are duplexed, Triplets or Quads. So you cannot test multiple jacks at the same time. Again a very BAD decision for a $Thousand-Dollar item, especially when EVERY OTHER company offers multiple terms.2) The build quality is similar to toy plastic. Although there is protection around the edges, I worry the screen will break when dropped several times.3) The Software seems very outdated, and I had an application crash when trying to print a report in WIN10. It would be nice to have full control of the unit via Windows GUI while connected and not have to enter into a hidden menu in order to connect to the PC. I would rate the software as old, limited, cheesy, and not very well thought-out, nor maintained.4) The Toner Probe, felt very cheap and when I pressed the button nothing happened. Why? No 9v battery included.I got too much feedback from the tip to the speaker and had to turn the vol all the way down. The good news is that I could hear the tones all the way to the switch port is isn't normal for the Harris and Ideal toner/probes. Still it felt like a cheap chinese piece of $5 tools.5) A kit that includes the GBIC for fiber testing, should also include the patch cables, couplers, converters, and a loopback cord. Sadly this $1k doesn't.6) The instructions are basic, too basic.
