I pretty much never leave reviews. This is one of those rare products that has actually changed my life.When I was a 25 y/o living in Chicago I read on a forum about skin care. One of the main companies the guy recommended was MenScience. I've tried just about everything they make and the one product that has stuck is this lotion. I'm now 39 and turn 40 in a few months. Since then I've lived in Brooklyn, Denver/Boulder, Austin, LA, San Francisco, Barcelona and Stockholm. I've consistently used this daily the entire time. I regularly work with people in their 20s and EVERYONE of them thinks I'm 28 or 29.I simply have to attribute this to regularly using this lotion. As other people have stated it goes on completely clean and is unscented. It won't leave any residue. In more humid climates I only need to use a little bit. In CO I sometimes would put it on twice a day (especially at altitude in the mountains where it's very dry).Again, I CANNOT recommend this lotion more highly. I have had two time periods where I tested other brands as well. Most of my other body products are Whole Foodsey - try to look for no parabens, no sulfates, etc. etc. because I've read about what actually goes into them. This lotion doesn't fall into that category...it is made with things I wouldn't normally use. HOWEVER, it works. I think I've tried around 12 other lotions from companies like every man jack and eo. They were all oily, or made my skin look a little shiny, or had a small scent. They just didn't compare.I even take this stuff camping. It's the ONE product I always travel with as well. I remember when I was younger that I tested using it/not using it for a week and my skin even broke out a little more. It really is a fantastic product.Some recommendations: when you travel (if in an airplane or altitude changes) OPEN UPSIDE DOWN at first. There will be an air pocket created and it can kind of start to leak. If you put that air pocket where the cap is by turning upside down and shaking the bottle a little it won't leak. Also, massage it on slowly, give your skin a little time to absorb it. I've been told this makes your skin more plastic (prevents wrinkles) and I've noticed it absorbs better.I'm not the best at using sun screen, but this pairs well if you put it on first since it dries without being oily. If you use this with sun screen you'll really stay looking great!TLDR; Get this, use it daily, look young.

This is an excellent product. Fragrance is neutral, and I prefer it that way. The product does what it is supposed to. It moisturizes without bring oily or greasy. A little goes a long way and it leaves a soft satin finish, unlike some products that leave a shiny finish on the skin. I would say it is one of the best face moisturizers I have ever used. Totally recommend!

This is the second tube I have ordered. I like the product for several reasons. It has a matte finish. Most female moisturizers leave a wet or shiny finish. As a guy, I prefer the flat finish of menscience. There is minimal scent, so it does not compete with your cologne or other products. Advance face lotion is also an effective moisturizer. Since I have begun using it my colleagues comment that I look well rested. More importantly, my skin looks more healthy. Being oil free, it does not break me out in areas like other products I have used. It is an expensive lotion, but it does the job it was made for and does it well.

Okay, when I got the bottle, it was smaller than I expected.Now, the product is pretty good. I'm asian, and I spent most my childhood in tropical climate so my skin is very oily all the time. Even in dry or cold days, my face turn even more oily to compensate. My problem with a lot of moisturizer are that they are sticky after applying which clogs my pores -which are quite large and visible- and I ended up with lots of blackheads.This product works very well. I felt to residue after applying. In fact, silky skin... which I never had... It is surprisingly good. Just absurdly expensive so use very sparingly. I also wish they have sun block with this, because of the high cheek bones, my cheeks turns red when spent time outside for too long and my skin in that region is very rough the next morning... Though application of this moisturizer negates that quite well.So, 5 stars for quality, 1 off for high prices.

This product works great. It's a fantastic moisturizer. It only takes a small amount. I try to visualize a dollop the size of a medium sweet pea. I like to make sure my hands are already hydrated before using as I would prefer the product get applied to and absorbed by my face rather than my hands. The product comes out of the tube as a whitish based gel, but does not color your skin. So guys, it will not smear or make you look like you're wearing "makeup."I live in a hot climate, and I have not felt greasy with this product. It lasts all day! Some face lotions have perfumes - this one is definately for a man, no perfumes. Some lotions, even when not applied near my eyes will bother my eyes - not this one.Will I buy again? Absolutely! It is a value when compared to other premium mens face care products.

I bought this because of the reviews, and at first I was satisfied. The thing about this is that it leaves a film on your skin. On the face it's not so noticable and makes your skin 'feel' soft, but on your hands it's slick and I always have to wash my hands off as if it were hair product. The other huge downside is the lack of an SPF. I think all skincare products for your face should have at least an SPF15, and I sure did miss it when I went skiing and got burned. I prefer the proactiv moisturizer over this because it leaves no greasy feeling on your face or hands and has SPF15/30. I just don't like giving my money to them, so that's how I ended up trying this product.
