I ignored some of the other reviews, and am regretting it. If the retention clip doesn't arrive broken (like mine did), I can guarantee that it will break very quickly. I've honestly never seen an RJ-11 connector (the phone jack-style end that goes into the radar detector) anywhere near as flimsy as this one.Also, as other reviewers noted, the metal clips on the portion that goes into the 12V socket are not flexible at all, and it's extremely difficult to connect.So, to tight on one end and too loose on the other. I returned the item for a refund.

Bought this for my Uniden R3, the plastic tab on the factory cable broke off so I needed a replacement fast. So far this powers my R3 fine and I have not experienced any problems. The plastic tab on this is a lot more durable than the factory cord.

I’ve had this cord in my car for a few weeks, and it has gone intermittent , which I’ve TS down to the phone connector end.I NEED TO GET THIS REPAIRED!I need a vendor who can relain the phone connector.I’m now using a backup cord!Help !

Good deal for the price. Works well on the Beltronics V10.
