I've had a few wooden and bamboo toilet seats that have cracked and broken often enough that I just couldn't justify replacing one again that was just going to break. I researched online for a long time before deciding on this seat and am really pleased with it. I did have a bit of an issue at first because the seat was slightly warped, so the metal connection bolt was chipping away slightly around the hole. With the help of a friend, we figured out that there was a warp, and that the back was lower than the front. I just so happened to have some additional bumpers right in a drawer in the bathroom (strangely), so I popped those on the back of the seat, a few inches from the bumpers that came with the seat and the problem was solved. This has been a really good seat, the plastic nuts do not loosen, I think I've tightened it once or twice in 6 months, but only because I wasn't sure they were still tight. I like the wood look and the ease of cleaning and durability, I will buy again if I need to, even though there was a slight warp. I know how to adjust that issue with additional bumpers and, since I did that, the seat has not chipped the hole in the toilet and I'm quite pleased with it on the whole.

The seat installed just fine. Comments about the length are people that don't read directions. It has several ways to extend or shorten it for your particular toilet. The pop out part of the hinges was annoying at first until I figured out you can adjust that part with a Allen wrench and tighten it to the point it won't release easily. Comments about it is real wood are incorrect and the description shows that it is a manufacturer wood and a printed pattern. The pattern looks very nice and real. The attachment bolts are long and take a little work to tighten. I suppose you could cut them shorter. I did put silicone on hinges and then installed to keep it from loosing up and moving around. It would be nice if they included the Allen wrench a deep well tool to tighten the nuts underneath.

We bought three seats from your company. One fit perfectly. The other one which I did a product review on was off-center with the hardware. Consequently, the seat is off-center. This one is way too small for the oval toilet. It’s a standard seat and it should cover it, but it was made too small. But once contacting the seller they helped us with trouble shooting ideas. Don’t hesitate to buy. Great quality and outstanding seller support.

The seat pieces for the stem are not attached already to the seat because they are meant to be able to put into different holes to make it line up where you need it to. The problem is that the stem screw is impossible to make completely tight because you just twist it into the bottom of the holder. When you at the rubber washer and the nut and try to tighten it, it pulls the stem out. You cannot get it tight enough to keep the seat from shifting. When you sit on it, it immediately starts to loosen. I rarely curse, but I did with this. Unfortunately, I had already thrown away the old seat, so had to keep this one and order something else that is more of a standard style attachment. I am bummed, because I really wanted the seat based on how it looks. It is really pretty, but my elderly mom is now staying with me, and this seat is not safe for her. Big disappointment.

Have only had a short time and using for guest bath. This seems like a very sturdy seat. Will see if all finishes hold up. Very easy installation.Packaged well and arrived in good condition unlike first one I ordered.So far so good.

This is by far the highest quality real solid wood, that has a beautiful grain that will brighten any bathroom. The automatic top goes down slowly, easily and simply which adds to this high quality workmanship and high quality appeal. My only disappointment is the video instructions were not at all helpful, but very frustrating. I am so thrilled and delighted at this new beautiful look in the bathroom.

Very happy with this purchase. I decided to buy another for the other bathroom. The look and texture stands out with the beautiful dark finish. It is not a soft close, instead it is a heavy solid seat and it will make a loud bang if slammed closed. If you have a household that slams toilet seats then this is not for you.
