These cards do the job well at a low price. Unlike similar products, you don't need more than one blocker card to "bookend" the cards you want to protect. One blocker card is sufficient for the average wallet.

I traveled to Colorado last May, and noticed that people get close to you at the supermarket, and I wonder if that is a trick to get to your information. I believe this system works as a protective shield if that is the case. However, I am more inclined right now to carry just what I need. I have many credit cards and three debit cards. What I do is to carry one credit and two debits whenever I go shopping. Mostly, though, I use cash instead of credit as it is untraceable, and I leave everything else at home. Be it as it may, I have my shield card in my wallet just in case, because anyway, sometimes credit is the only way to go and you need the protection.

I don't know if these work or not but they provide a sense of security real or imagined.I read that someone else tested them by holding them next to a credit card then tried to use the card at a terminal and it would not accept the card. I think I'll try that for additional peace of mind.
