Quality sound
Very crisp, clear sound. I'm still breaking them in and resisting the urge to blast the too hard too soon.

Big Bass in your face
Great build quality, unmatched sound, loud af bass, so happy i got the sundown, pair it with a good amp, ported box and you will have your neighbors thinking they live next to a club. This feels like American built woofers have evolved far from their start in the 90s! I will never put any other woofer in my car other than Sundown Audio :) I do recommend wiring it to match your amp's preferred ohms, i got mine runningon a mono channel amp in 2 ohms. BOOMBOOM BASS!

Definitely worth the money
I ordered 2 of these to replace my kicker Comp R 12’s and right off the bat I could tell these were gunna hit way harder. I currently have them in a slightly undersized box at 1.5cu ft per chamber getting around 3 to 400 watts from Zeus 1200.1d and they hitting harder then kicker easily. These subs call for a minimum 1.75cu ft per chamber box and 500watt rms so when I get my 1.8cu ft box & stinger 1800.1 amp I will update this review to tell about these subs at their full potential

Great Sub!
So I been shopping for a while for a new sun yo replace my Boston Acoustic G212. I ran that sun for 10 years and wanted something clean with a good punch to it. Sounds way better than my Boston. The Boston was great but surprisingly this is a really clean hard hitting sub. I’m running a Kenwood Excelon 500 watts at 2ohms. I didn’t like the sound quality on that so I am now running it at 4 ohms. I feel it sounds better and hits the notes I want to hear and feel at 4 ohms. Running late n a ported box at 1.75 CF. Sun moves nice. You don’t have to run half gains to break it in. Set your gains and you are ready to go.

2 quality issues
Well I swapped my two Kicker Comp r's for two of these. Haven't had them in long, but they sound fantastic. However, two quality control issues. One on each woofer. Hard to tell from the pics but there is an abnormality in the foam surround. It is kind of deformed at the top. I don't think it will cause any problems, so I'll keep it. It doesn't have any creases or anything in it. On the other woofer, I didn't take a picture, but the rubber bumper on the motor was crooked. Again, not a big deal but just something to be aware of. Me personally, I would buy these speakers from someone else. Not sure if the seller gets them at a reduced price because they were rejected from QA or something, but I'd recommend a different seller.
