Good product -- accurate and good build quality
I use this thermocouple with a Flute multimeter to confirm that the hot air from SMD Hot Air Rework station has the correct air temperature. Compared the measurement results with the results from another known (and expensive) instrument. The test results are consistent.

Max Temperature Issue
Can you please confirm that the maximum temperature is 1100 °C? We bought it and it is transferring the data max 100C

This K type works
I know it works through my testing. This sensor is the proper length for my project (that's a plus). Description says it can take the heat (that is also a plus). We will find out once finished. I am looking forward to that day. As they say, i will post an update then.

Very accurate thermocouple
Very accurate, but don't get it wet. I submerged it many times using it to measure the temp of my mash for beer Brewing. Eventually the probe started to read inaccurately. I purchased a new one and all is well again. Lessen learned.

Good thermo, but will NOT withstand “rated” temperature
This is a decent quality type K thermocouple, but please be warned: the ad says “1250 C”. NOT A CHANCE. Make that “C” an “F” and you’re good. I used this as an EGT probe in a mini turbine. At 1600F it melted the probes metal casing which promptly disintegrated and blew itself apart. If you are using it under about 1400F, you should be good, and it will work fine. Just dont believe that 1250C rating. Totally bogus.

Replaced troublesome sensor with this.
My powder coating oven PID was showing a temperature that didn't match my BBQ sensor that I used for checking. After some verifications, I found that it's off by 10%, which means at 400 degrees, it's off by 40 degrees which is completely unacceptable. That was the old sensor.I purchased this sensor and now I'm confident using my oven's PID controller because the temperature is within 2 degrees even at 400 which is more than acceptable for powder coating.Very glad I went with this unit.

Very Poor Quality
I bought this to replace an earlier one. This one would not register temperatures over 1306°F (an it is supposed to go up to 1250°C which is 2282°F). This caused my furnace to overheat and did about 1,000 dollars of damage to my equipment. This is the first time I have used this thermocouple and it failed. I am not happy and will not buy from this company ever again.

Works as Promised
Replacement for similar thermocouple that went bad after 2 years of use. If I get the same life out of this one, I’ll be happy.
