Misleading product description.I bought these specifically because the product description said they spin with the little plastic rotater disk. It showed an arrow and everything. (But, if you look at it one way, sure they spin, if you spin the handle in your hand. I spin, if I turn around in circles. My coffee cup spins if I rotate it on my counter... but that really isn't the goal.) DO NOT BE FOOLED. If you are looking for spinny forks, these are NOT those...despite the product description. (We have spinny forks... and these are not made the same at all)I bought these for my husband for father's day... as our family of 5 all loves our two spinny forks we currently have... so I thought it would be great to get more. :( Don't get me wrong, as just ordinary close tong forks, they are lovely. They extend, they roast marshmallows, they will hold a hotdog lengthwise if you squeeze the tongs.I'm just irritated with the false advertising. If I wanted non-spinny forks, I would have spent a bit less on another product had I known the truth before ordering. Don't say I didn't warn you! ;-)

I was really skeptical about these, as they are good value (not too expensive). I was worried they would be flimsy and fall apart. Actually they are GREAT!They came in a little zip up bag, which is really useful. They are well colour coded, which helped with re-use. We found 8 turned out to be a great number - not to few or too many. Used with 6 kids over an outdoor fire and they held up well despite them being used as swords at one point! They are really long - any longer and they'd have been too flimsy I think. We used them with marshmallows and frankfurter sausages! A real hit.

Dogs loved them too and to be fair....they held up pretty up well!
