Outstanding
For anyone wanting to learn about quality and improvement principles, model, method and tools, this is the ONLY book you'll ever need to read. A one time disciple and devotee of Deming, Lou Schultz, once told me that Tom Nolan was the closest thing we have to a Dr. W. Edwards Deming today. After reading this book, I think you'll agree. The other authors are a very close second. These guys are the best of the best at what they do. Don't hesitate to buy this book if you're at all interested or working in the quality and performance improvement field.Jon Zeipen, MSWDirector of Quality and Patient Safety

Easy to use
This is an informative reference that I am using for my doctorate program. Though this ws an optional text, I have used this much more than the required texts for my courses. It is user friendly, easy to navigate and find what you are looking for. This is my go to resource.

Excellent guide to APA format.
Have other resources, but this book really helped me understand how to word my papers in APA format. Also helped me in my citations of other sources that my computer does not have auto-functions for.

Review: The Improvement Guide
Book deals with improvements in business and work settings. Includes principles of improvement, models, issues of change, and a second part devoted entirely to methods for improvement. This second part is the most valuable. Read parts for ideas and practical applications. There is little here that is new, but the compendium approach is helpful.

As advertised. Very good methodology used by many hospitals for quality improvement
Down to earth and practical. Dip into it over and over.
