The directions say good for up to 2.5 liters of paint. I slowly stirred in one package of silver glitter into one gallon of paint.WOW!!Adding more of this would make the room look like a disco ball!No matter where you look, there are subtle pops of glitter. I had read reviews where people had to sand their walls to bring out the effect. I mentioned this to my Wife, and she felt we had enough sparkle without sanding.I don't know if this makes a difference, but I only use really good paint. In this case, Behr 1 coat paint and primer from Home Depot in a Satin sheen. I take my time mixing the glitter into the paint, probably taking 7-8 pours to get the single package into the paint.I've used a Valspar glitter additive in the past (which I can no longer find) that worked well, but their directions said to use within 3 days, so the glitter wouldn't become swallowed up by the paint. I kept this in mind with this product.A great product, fun subtle effect, & better price than what I had used in the past.Looking forward to trying more colors!

I added this product to dark brown paint and painted my master bath ceiling. Looks great. When the light shines up on the ceiling, the sparkle is gorgeous!! The only small thing is that because I chose silver, it does give the paint an ever-so-slightly grayish hue, but only I notice it. Everyone else LOVES the effect, as do I. I will definitely use this product again in my dining room. Oh, and adding a white painted crown against the sparkle really gives the whole room a very dramatic look.

Very reasonable price, and extra extra fine granules. Mixed well with the sealant I used and it accomplished the desired effect. Unfortunately the package arrived with a small puncture. Took a half hour to clean up the initial mess, but after salvaging the contents, I only lost maybe 10% at most.Pro tip: if you buy this, try to order something else along with it so it ships in a combined box. Mine was shipped alone in a bubble envelope that must have been thrown in a van with boxes and some other things with edges. The product itself is a great buy! A little goes a long way, and even after the mess, I have some left.

Used one package for 1 gallon of paint and it turned out beautifully!! Even though it recommended to add one package per liter it still came out sparkly and was an excellent touch to the paint!

This is the second time I'm buying this product. I just bought a new house and this is for my daughter's bedroom. I used it in her current bedroom and LOVED it so much that I knew I had to get it again for her new room. HIGHLY recommend this product.It may look like a lot of glitter at first, but it goes on sooo nice.

I did not read the description, I needed at least two pouches for a gallon of paint.

Let me start off by saying I did not use this as I was supposed to lol. I needed a light sparkle to accentuate our black paint for our cabinets and this product exceeded my expectation. I added it to an entire gallon of black semi gloss and it catches the light perfectly in our kitchen. There was no need to "sand" it as it sparkles exactly how I wanted. However the reason for the 4 star review instead of 5 is quite simple. When I opened up the box and began handling the package glitter got everywhere. This leads me to believe that their was some sort of packaging issue. It was mildly frustrating to clean up this issue as well.
