Odyson - Trackpad with Flex Cable Replacement for Apple MacBook Pro 13" Retina A1502 (Early 2015)

My keyboard and trackpad weren’t working at all. The only thing working was the power button. So I replaced the trackpad and cable on my pro and now everything is working just fine! They have been working just great. My only concern is that the cable seems to be a bit longer than the original cable, even after you do the 90degree bends to make it look like the original one. The connection itself is fine, but I had to do extra bends which slight concerns me as that may wear it out quicker.Apparently this fix is the most common problem with this specific MacBook Pro. Good thing it wasn’t a costly fix, the only hard part is getting the battery out without damaging it or ruining the sticker adhesive on it.

This replaced my original trackpad and works perfectly. The install wasn’t difficult, it just required me to take my time to ensure it was done correctly. There are very minute connections and it’s way too easy to loose screws. I’m very happy with it and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Enjoy!!

Great replacement for failed trackpad. Symptoms: Keyboard not working, only power button; Trackpad unresponsive; Force touch on trackpad not working. Make sure you get the proper tools. There is a star tool size that is uncommon (T4), and required for the job.

Chip on it heats up a lot. So much u will burn your self. Did not work maybe due to this heater chip. They did offer a replacement. Let’s see how this one turns out

The only bad thing about this product is that the cable is too long. I had to bend it to make it fit. But overall it works and I saved good money.

Tearing down a 2015 MacBook Pro is not for the novice, but the online tutorials were spot on. This part saved hundreds of dollars at the Apple Store.

It works flawlessly in my early 2015 retina Macbook Retina. No calibration was required.
