My girls LOVE this food! And I am very happy with the quality and the fact that it is holistic and grain free! The "sampler" box is the best way to go to find out which ones your kitties really like the most. I also mix it with their Solid Gold Indigo Moon dry kibble to help bulk it up and slow down their eating. I have only been feeding Solid Gold cat foods to my pets since 2002. ❤️🐈🐈‍⬛😻

Picked up a box during prime and the cats loved the shreds so I immediately ordered another during the sale. Of course they won't eat the pate despite loving fancy feast pate. It looks to be of decent quality food.

I have been buying this food for my cat for 4 or 5 years now. I originally got it at PetCo, but I had to switch to Amazon because PetCo stopped carrying it. I choose this food because I try to be a conscientious caretaker for my cat and because the flavor--Salmon and Coconut Oil--is her favorite. She's always loved the food, and I'm more than happy to provide it for her. However, I just received my Auto-Ship delivery and it contained a broken can that I am going to have to discard. I tried to go through Amazon's refund process, but I was told that the item is not eligible for a refund. I am somewhat disgruntled about this. It's not typical to receive a damaged item from a business and not have the item replaced for a non-damaged one, and this item is one of the bigger recurring expenses in my life. TL;DR: Food is great quality, but I got a damaged can in my most recent shipment and there's no clear avenue for me to get the damaged item replaced.

My cat hates anything related to fish. I have tried different flavors, different consistencies, many many different brands. I took a chance and ordered the variety pack. I gave her the tuna in gravy and she ate every bit of it. One happy mama!!!

As everyone with pets knows, our cats, dogs (or whatever you have), have distinct personalities and taste buds. A particular food item that may be shunned by some pets, might eagerly be devoured by others in a heart beat - and who would be right? Having said that, all I can do is to evaluate the 3 adopted (formerly feral) cats that we have in our home. We have 3 formerly feral cats - a Momma and two of her full grown kittens (female and male). They are absolutely hooked on various Applaws and Reveal brand of canned food and whenever I serve them that line of food, they go nuts and inhale everything. Periodically, I like to try other products in an effort to give our cats some different choices, mixing it up a bit. So when I saw this Solid Gold Wet Cat Food Shreds in Gravy offering, I thought, "why not..." When the box arrived (I ordered a case of 24) - I was eager to serve the cats their new treat. But alas, it was not to be. They each walked up to the new food, gave it a smell (one cat actually tasted it), and all just walked away. No matter what I tried, none of them wanted anything to do with this food - bummer, and a complete waste of money to be sure. Then I tried giving them this food at different times during the day - nothing worked. They wanted nothing to do with it. So the moral of the story is, "don't buy cat food that looks like something you'd like yourself (as many of us tend to do)!" Now get this, I gave this newly purchased box of this food to a neighbor who has 5 cats (all indoor), and after several days, I inquired with them as to how their cats liked this flavor. The neighbor responded that none of their cats wanted nothing to do with it - which she found odd - and she gave the box back to me. So now, I just put it out in our back yard (we live by the woods), and allow the possums and raccoons to eat what was left, as they'll devour anything. So in the end, the purchase of this Solid Gold wet canned cat food was a total waste of money, and a mistake I won't make again. So, as is the case with any pet food, your mileage may vary, and some of you cats may like this food.

I'm not sure yet. My cat did throw up on the second day after eating the Shreded in Gravy, but she seems to be ok now. It's a little too early yet.

This might be the very best cat food I've ever given my cats. I wish I could give it more stars. This stuff is high-quality food with an emphasis on the protein and hydration cats really need. You can see actual meat or chunks of fish in this food, rather than the vaguely meaty mystery stuff you find in most canned cat foods. This food looks and smells good, even to me, and judging by my cats' reaction to it, it must taste great, too. Like most cats, they are picky and mercurial, and I never know how well they might accept a new cat food...or even a tried and true favorite, for that matter. But they seem to love this stuff. And Solid Gold is all about transparency, listing not only all the ingredients in their foods, but there's a page on their website that provides sourcing information for each one of those ingredients, so you can be sure about everything you're feeding your kitties. By the way, this company is amazing, too. I received the wrong product initially, but all it took was one quick message to Solid Gold to have a replacement order sent to me in just a couple of days. Their customer service is friendly, professional, and efficient, and the brand is excellent all around. This product costs more than other pet foods, it's true. But I would much rather pay more for good quality food now than have to pay more to the vet later. The health and happiness of my girls matters most to me, so we've switched to Solid Gold. If you are considering it, I urge you to try it, and maybe even offer it as a weekly treat, if the price to serve it daily is prohibitive. But be prepared for a lot of feline lovin', because your cats will surely thank you for it!

First off, this is absolutely my cat's favorite food ever. They beg more than usual for it. It's a little more money than standard fare, but worth every penny. You want the high quality option, you have to be willing to pay for it. And it is evidently the most healthy choice I've given my cats ever. How do I know that? My smaller cat throws up almost daily - always has - because she's a fast eater, I always thought. Even with a slow bowl, she eats so fast she gets sick. Since she's had this wet food instead, she doesn't get sick any more. Miracle.

Being able to confirm an order for this 3 Oz size is almost like winning a lottery - especially when you have a senior cat at home who is quite particular about the food you place in the dish. We’ve tried the 6 Oz version but it just isn’t the same - it seems to contain more moisture, looks mushy and my cat simply won’t go near it. I hope the 3 Oz version will continue to be produced.
