Nothing against the product but please edit the Q&A section as some of the answers mislead me into thinking they can be used with Apple earphones. My bad obviously but other customers could fall into the same trap

I bought this product so that I could use existing iPhone power cables in my home, however I quickly realised the slow nature of the charge.I was extremely disappointed to learn that the adapter bottlenecks the speed of the charging by 90%, meaning that my phone will barely charge over the course of, perhaps an hour.This means that the adapter is almost USELESS and almost a complete waste of money.Furthermore, it is not able to transmit or information which one would use to attach lightning headphones, or to plug into a car or PC for syncing.On the other hand, the product came in a small box, it came quickly, and it appears to be durable, even though I have only had the adapter for a few weeks.

These are indispensable. I was recently given a new iPad Air for my birthday and noted that Apple had decided again to change the type of charging socket. I have a number of long 'lightning' charging cords, which I did not wish to replace. They are so handy for bedside use. These solve the problem and are well constructed, The lightning plug fits this adaptor with a satisfying firm click and likewise the USB-C end clicks firmly into the iPad. They do not allow data transfer but that is not an issue as you use the Apple supplied cord for that. They are very good value.

Neither of the two worked. Total waste of time. Returned same day.Getting fed up with returning rubbish items to Amazon lately.

The adapter gets very hot when charging and then ceased to work. Money wasted.
