If you use a humidifier now and have the setting at 3 to 4 I would suggest HumidX. This machine does not give me enough or I guess I should say different humidity. It is not as comfortable as the humidity that I get from my Air sense 10 **Q: is there a way to extend the life of the humidx Plus? If i only use it say for a weekend trip? Can i vacuum seal it to prolong the life?** A: My ENT doctor says you can double the life by putting them in a zip lock each morning when you wake up! **Q: 30 calendar days or 30 days of use for the life?** A: It is 30 days from first usage. **Q: Do you remove humidx when not in use? Ex, use 1 week during travel, then renove 1 week when home and then insert again for travel?** A: No, I never remove it. I simply replace it every 30 days.
